Newcastle Fans Out In Force On Boxing Day

Not surprisingly the Toon Army has already snapped up all available 5,000 tickets for the Boxing Day game at Wigan Athletic next week.

Newcastle fans – out in force on Boxing Day

We had the exact same fixture last year, and were beaten 1-0, in what was one of the worst performances seen from a Newcastle side in a long time, and that couldn’t have helped Sam Allardyce’s tenure at the club, and he was sacked about two weeks later.

Maybe Joe can remind the players that no repeat of that form will be acceptable this time around.

And since we threw two points away against Wigan at home a couple of weeks ago, by conceding in the last minute, we need all 3 points on Boxing Day.

In fact Joe has made it clear that his game plans are always put together on how we can win every game, even though at times, against top four teams like Chelsea away, it means defending well, and hoping to snatch a goal near the end of the game.

But that should be the target, and the lads will certainly get the full backing of the magnificent Toon Army at Wigan – as usual.   😀

Im at my mothers all day – but its not being broadcast on the tele, so will have to rely on faithfull Century Radio coverage.

I do hope we can repeat the 0 – 2 part to us and not concede.

    Then roll on Liverpool!!!

I’ll be sat at home in Devon trying to look like I’m listening to family members as they dribble on about this and that.

Tis the season to be jolly. Crapsticks.
