Kinnear Has Already Put In Bids For Four Players

Joe Kinnear has Newcastle very well organized right now, both off and on the field, and he has worked with Dennis Wise and the Newcastle Board to get four bids for players in, way before January 1st has even rolled around, and we like that, like it a lot.

Joe Kinnear – has bids in for four players already

Joe Kinnear says that Newcastle United are already in contact with a number of players regarding a January move to St. James’ Park.

Joe was speaking today at his pre-match Wigan press conference, and told reporters present that the Newcastle club are now waiting for answers from four potential targets.

“We have contacted four people and spoke to them,”

“Now we will wait for a yes or a no.”

So it seems that the Newcastle defense and team is not the only thing Joe can organize well, and he certainly seems to get on with things at Newcastle – he certainly doesn’t let the grass grow under his feet. We really like to see that, and few would argue that Joe has been a breath of fresh air at Newcastle, with his passion and positive impact at the club.

We had hoped that Joe would get off to a quick start in the transfer market, and he seems determined to do just that, as he seems absolutely committed to improve the qulaity and size of the squad before February rolls around.

Let us know who you think the four players are – the comments should be very interesting indeed.

Excellent! Hopefully Sakho is one of them, as well as a young defensive midfielder to replace Butt 😀

Why is everyone hyping up Sakho?

Is it because he is young and is a regular? Well if you saw PSG’s strength and depth in defence, I’d be in their squad.

When I’ve seen Sakho he has been OK.

He cant attack for toffee at LB but looked good at CB, but not better than what we have.

i think there cud be a bid for elano? think he was amazin for the first half of his first season at man city… and if he could have the same ‘defence opening’ impact for us then he could be the creative spark we have been looking for in midfield !!

    Juan Arango? lol!
Bit old I think for the Toon.

Hopefully some of these are foreign talen too.
    Like Sakho, Daniel Jarque etc

It would make sense for Real to sell now that Diarra has been brought in.
Can’t see Gago leaving but would love him at Newcastle.

I can see us making a bid for Baines, I’d like him and hopefully we can get someone like Diarra

Another refreshing thing to hear. I must say that Joe Kineear has impressed me totally with everything he has done, spot on all the time. He really is making the most of his time here and it’s great to see a manager at the helm sooooo devoted to the cause. I missed that since Sir Bobby left and Keegan the first time he was here b’cuz the second time around he wasn’t long enough to see it again.

Also I have been told he would struggle to get on our bench.

i would take a look at man city for players, i mean if they do go out and spend big and buy lots of players then players such as elano, johnson, ireland could become available and i would take any of those at the drop of a hat

    Dear NUFC-Santa!
    In january I would like:

Elano- We know that he has what it takes in the PL. I think Kinnear will make him stabile as he was under Eriksson. He also gives us the silkysmooth foot we need coming forward.

Man City and W ham should be where we’re looking

Man city are gonna buy loathes which means DUMPING PEOPLE!

W ham have to many players and are apparantly aiming to sell 5-10 players in January of all importance realistic targets from those clubs

    Elano
    Upson
    Richards
    Ashton

and also if we want a lb and Everton want a striker

Baines for Smith straight swap would be perfect

and finnally 1 promising youngster maybe Sakho and 1 expereinced foreigner maybe Juanito.

    we’d be sorted then

Why is everyone so keen on Bullard? I don’t like him at all.

Arango is experienced and a very good player but he’s not that young either,

I hear Pennant is on verge of move with Liverpool accepting the bid?

I don’t understand where all this english assosciation with Real Madrid has come from, that Middlesbrough player, now Pennant?

We won’t buy Bullard, Fulham want £5mill and he’s too old for that price for Ashley to buy.

We will get another left back, and I think it should be very much considered looking at the smaller/struggling/crisis clubs.

sakho (only if we sell taylor) and i’m hoping for veloso (can play as LB, CB and DMC)..he’d solve many of our problems…, one strong striker: gomis or adriano (on loan), and…creative midfielder…moutinho, gourcuff (swap with owen),…

BUT MOST OF ALL…i want us to get rid off dead wood: shola, viduka, smith, cacapa, geremi, carroll, edgar, perhaps even owen…depends who could we swap him for…
