Most Of Newcastle’s Turmoil Is Self Inflicted

Joe has talked today about the FA Cup and that he will not have injured players on the bench today, like we did last weekend, and may even give some of the youngsters at the club a run out today against Hull City.

joe-kinnear-new11

Joe Kinnear – Hull haven’t had the turmoil we’ve had

Joe talked about the FA Cup:

“I love the tournament – I would love dearly to still be in it on Saturday night. With our best side out without any injuries it would be our best chance to win something but at the moment I’m more worried about West Ham than about Hull,”

“I’m just talking reality there. The fact is I hope we’ll be in a better position at this time next week to put out a much stronger team.”

“We may have to put the kids in and go for broke. Two or three of our players are 50/50 and I may make the decision for them and try to keep them for next week.”

“I will put the best possible team out to get a result but we have got those injuries. Certain players we put on the bench knowing they could only get 45 minutes and they will not figure against Hull,”

“While I would dearly like us to stay in the competition I think West Ham is a bigger game.” “Hull have done well but they’ve not had the injuries or turmoil we’ve had,”

Joe’s right that Hull City haven’t had the turmoil we have endured again, for another season, but that’s because they are not as daft a club as we seem to be.

They seem to be a well run club with a manager who’s in charge of what he should be in charge of, and we would even hazard a guess that they actually talk and communicate with their fans.

No, let’s be honest, because most of the Newcastle turmoil is self inflicted, and the sooner we get senior management at the club who can calm things down and move the club forward in a professional way, like Chris Mort as one very good example, the better off the club will be.

But we’ve been through this so many times, so why doesn’t Mike Ashley do something about it?

The mistakes Ashley and Lambias have made are so simple common sense issues that they would have been put right immediately if Ashley had the will to do so.

There is no reason to think he is suddenly going to change his style now.

Because the barrow boy is not as clever as people would like him to be? If anyone illustrates the fact that you do not have to be particularly bright to be rich then Mike Ashley is evidence.
How anyone in their right mind with an inkling of footballing nous would appoint Wise above a manager like Keegan is beyond me. It is not a far stretch to imagine the rest of the footballing world having a good chortle to that one.
Maybe there in lies the rub. Ashley is such a “rebel” he wants to defy the nay-sayers who tell him his set-up is ridiculous?
Whatever – Mike Ashley has proven time and time again that he is not cut out to be a club owner, unless that criteria means being as moronic as Freddie Shepherd.
What the hell have we done to deserve these two?

Jamie, I think you have a point. Ashley seems so determined to show that he was right all along, but even then I can’t understand the lack of attention to communication with both players and fans.

In his statement last week he talked about improving communication, but then all he taked about was taking the Sun to court … not exactly high on the list of things that people want clarifying at the moment.

looks like N’Zogbia is one of those players that kinnear was talking about that will generate up to £16 million.

What happened to Newcastle eh? 2003-04 season we were pushing for a Champions League place. 5 years on- look at us now 🙁 Fighting relegation with our top players wanting to leave the club because we are unable to be consistant. I hope for the New Year that we can turn a corner and get a decent position in the league this year. COME ON THE TOON!!!

I’d be less bothered about Zog leaving. He needs to realise that he has a lot of work to do before he can consider himself Champion’s League/trophy challenging standard.

The fat man made two huge mistakes, the first was not keeping Mort at the club or as yet bringing him back and the second was letting the poison dwarf anywhere near our club.Even the thickest of people know going down would take tens of millions off the club value and loss of income would kill us.He has to bring enough quality in to keep us up.

“But he was not so confident on the subject of transfer funds, admitting that the vast majority of his budget will come from players being sold during January.”
    http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2009/01/03/kinnear-hopes-to-have-16m-war-chest-61634-22596364/

it seems Mr Ashley is determined to relegate this club. To get his mangerial set up so wrong is one thing, but to give no net input on transfer funds is in fact criminal.

Has he some scam going where he actually makes money if we go down? Only conclusion I have come to.

get shut of him as soon as we can cant believe hes still here, he cant be good to have in the dressing room. maybe going down wouldnt be too bad of thing for us at least it wold get rid of all the money grabbing players and we would be able to get a solid squad in depth from the income made from them but no1 really wants that. does anyone know a link for the game today

M.Ashley looks set to do us over again. Where is the 12 million from Milner, where is the Sky money.By all accounts M.Ashey already has 12 million for NUFC to spend by all accounts so if he raises another 16 million by letting players go then that gives us a tidy little lump. He better spend some money or his life won’t be worth living. As far as N’Zogbia is concerned, i am sick to the back teeth with this stroppy little pr1ck. TBH he aint all that obviously he has a high opinion of himself and has no loyalty at all. Not needed at this time. In fact id pay for N’Zogbia plain ticket myself. He will not get in the Arsenal side he aint good enough.

Comments made recently by Joe show clearly that it is the poison dwarf Dennis Wise who is running NUFC from London. Obviously if Shay is sold it will be Wise who does it regardless of what fans or Joe think. The same goes for any other player. We are being undermined by a bunch of ignorant, selfish and hapless clowns. Get out Ashley asap.

I agree Ferguson couldn’t handle the premiership last time and Bougherra only played in a struggling Charlton team. We need players, but if they aren’t better than we have got, why bother?

zogbia has put in a transfer request lads. while i admit that i am sick of the little moaning twat and would normally like to see the shithouse moved on, we have to look what is going on right now at newcastle – it is going to be a mass exodus of talent, it is clear. owen is off, given is off, zogs is off. thats just for a start. letes wait and see n martins too – my thoughts are he will also bang in a request within the next week. we have to face facts, no-one in the footballing world wants to play for newcastle and thats cos ashley has destroyed us. it has been made clear we are a selling, money grabbing club with no ambition or drive in terms of performance on the pitch. ashley has destroyed newcastle and anyone who thinks he hasnt is a first class prick. not only are we going down to the fizzy league for definate, i think we will slide right through into oblivion. some people may call me a bit over the top but sigmund freud once said a very famous quaote – ‘there is no such thing as paranoia, only accute awareness’. i am aware we are shafted lads, even the blinkered pro- ashley knobbers must now that we are doomed. not only will we not be able to sign a single quality player this window or ever again under ashley, we will never get a real manager ever, and also ALL of our players will leave. notice that even butt and harper have not and will not sign contracts too – something that the liar jfk said would be completed before xmas day. we are finished.

Barry wont leave rangers again. he’s a bit of a crab anyway, just passes the ball from side to side alot, i do like him as a player and a person from what i’ve seen though.

As far as Charlie goes, i like the lad on the field but im getting sick of him coming out and opening his mouth about wanting to be elsewhere. in the clubs current state its about as helpful as a kick in the balls so sell him. to ANYONE. If he thinks arsenal are gonna be kicking our door down the moment he’s made available then he’s sadly mistaken. he isnt talented enough to be starting in a champions league playing side week in week out.

waddles mullet………..jfk has already said we have put in an offer for ferg but that it was rejected. jfk also went on to say that all of his offers have been rejected so far but he is shafted cos he is relying on players sold money and that no-one has come in for any of the ones he wants to sell. in other words – weare well and truly shagged. thanks ashley, i wish you would just go and die somewhere, really ,i do.

Kinnear has admited hes interested in Ferguson.

He a very good player for Rangers and was average at best at Blackburn.

I would like to see that type of player in our team, but would rather have Bullard.

Not sure of the price tags on the two 30 year olds, but at their ages would not be paying too much.

Kinnear must being having some influence on Ashley, as they are not the up and coming stars of the future Ashley wanted to buy when he first came.

As for the Algerian defender, he must be a squad player at best! However we could do with another CB, but its not a desperate position unlike full back.

I read Zog is at it again……Oh a transfer window, lets disrespect my club, manager, players and FANS by spouting off about ‘my dream’ to play for another club!
I’m sick of hearing about him, sell the lad. He could be great, but his ego will weigh him from achieveing it.

Wenger your welcome to him, him and Gallas in the same dressing room, not sure if you could fit any more egos in there though!
