This makes me feel sick to my stomach literally.If this is the kind of player we are looking at then it will be the first time I believe relegation is a certain possibility.One positive is we know Kinnear is signing the player but I’d rather little Dennis to be honest.A washed up has bin in a shit league.I mean Barry Ferguson isn’t even a has bin he is a never was.Injury prone too just what we need.Kinnears a ****ing clown OUT.

butt – on his last legs
gutherie – will become good but raw at the moment
barton – hurt

who else can play that position? geremi? n’zog? lua lua? ferguson will be a massive lift in the center of our midfield.

by the way i can’t believe man city are willing to pay scott parker 100k a week.

We will never get Bullard here unless he ends up crap, he is a good player and scores goals there must be a list of teams who would take him and most of them he would put before us.

If Bullard would come, then we would want Bullard AND Ferguson.

I do not know why we either play Duff at left back or sell him, I do not understand why the club thinks we should sell Barton or Gerami before Duff, why??

A midfield mediocrity, is this how far the club has deteriorated ?
Dont want Boyd either, as a matter of fact dont want anyone from Rangers.
Dont want Givet either.
Would take Mido for Smith, reluctantly.
Onouha, would be O`kay, fillin for Beye.
So what about Sissoko, Sahko, Appiah,Mouyokolo, these guys can play !

Didn’t Barry break his leg at Blackburn? And weren’t Blackburn a terrible team back then? I seem to remember them kicking the $hite out of players left right and centre.

I also seem to remember that Souness was in charge.

OK he might be playing bad at rangers but what if he has just lost his fire and needs a new challenge at this stage in his career? I think Newcastle might be the challenge he would like. I really think we would see the best out of him at Newcastle because you have better players around him that can bring the best out of him.

Yes I think we have better players than Rangers. Big whoop wanna fight about it?

Ross- glad to hear an opposing view, yes you are right in some areas however, this applies to Trojan 69 as well, the reason that rangers would want to sell him is that he is paid 40,000 pounds a week and in a first team squad of 28 players that is a lot for a yearly bill. If there were other bids for their deadwood fringe players ( about ten of them) then he wouldn’t have to be sold. You can only sell whoever has had an offer for. By the looks of what their chairman david murrary said I don’t believe that he will be sold.

toonoholic-the fact of the matter is we should have more than 3 million to spend on the center of our midfield, a position where we are absolutly desperate for a little bit of quality. That little bit of quality isnt Barry Ferguson im afraid. I moved up to Scotland a few years ago and he’s a hero to the rangers fans but they’re more than ready to cash in on him, he wouldnt improve our squad at all.
I will ask you this, Barton is pompeys number one target this window. It was rumoured that Ashley said on the final day of the summer window “should we recieve a decent offer for Barton, accept it”. How would you feel if we baught Barry, and sold Barton?
