We will not get 90 mins out of Geremi, and WH midfield can be pretty sharp. May be better to gamble on starting with Zog or even LuaLua. Keep Geremi for last 30 mins.

I was beginning to doubt whether DC was actually making this up.

I’m now convinced he is.

He says Barton and Smith will both leave. I seriously doubt that. If you read the quote from Mido he says we made an offer for him and Middlesborough asked about Smith – it was hardly like we were asking for the swap.

He’s also only named names AFTER nufc.com did (on Riise). Elano is a good bet as he’s out of favour at Man City, but pure guesswork IMHO. I doubt City will have raised the price twice. Do you really think they’d haggle considering their wealth? Hughes is convinced Elano is out to get him, so he’ll accept the first reasonable offer.
