Hughton – Joe Kinnear In Good Spirits

Chris Hughton has been on the phone again to Joe Kinnear, and he says Joe is in good form.

Chris spoke to Joe Kinnear by telephone at length on Thursday and Chris said:

“I spoke to him on Thursday for a fair amount of time and he was in good form,”

“Sometimes when you speak to Joe he sounds that good you have to realise what he’s been through.”

“He’s still recovering and he needs that recovery time but he’s certainly on the mend and is in good spirits.”

“He’ll be watching on Sunday and I’ll certainly speak to him before and after the game.”

So Joe will again be watching on television as this game is broadcast live around the world. Let’s hope it’s not too close, for Joe;s sake. Certainly if we can get 3 goals up in the first 27 minutes, as we did in this corresponding fixture last year, that would be great.

The fact that Joe will be watching again, should be a spur to the Newcastle players to give their all, and this is a game Newcastle can definitely win, and it’s yet another 6 pointer, but the defense will be extremely important tomorrow.

If they are as good as they were in the second half of the game last Sunday, against Everton, the lads could well come away with all 3 points from The Reebok tomorrow afternoon.

Howay The Lads!!

Its a very important game Ed, the defenders need to be on their toes with the midfielders picking up runs.
Our strikers need to receive better sevice than thet did against Everton.
Ed in Britain Defense is spelt defence.
    Love the blog.
