The young Newcastle Reserves side will be in action tonight against Hull City at the KC Stadium, where Newcastle’s first team play on Saturday.
Richard Money – his young guns at Hull tonight
Newcastle United Reserves, as young as they are, have a chance of winning the Premier Reserve League North, having won 7 of their last 8 games, and they will be going for another win tonight, as Hull languish in second bottom place.
The average age of the side is usually around the 18 to 19 mark, and includes some of our very best youngsters, and we have quite a few of them these days.
Richard Money, who has the job of bringing through the youngsters at the club , and seems to have settled in well at the club since he joined last August, will be in charge again tonight.
The lads are now just six points off top of the table Sunderland, and included in the squad tonight is our recently signed 17 year-old Swedish striker Samuel Adjei and 16 year-old Slovenian youth international Haris Vuckic, who plays in central midfield.
Kazenga LuaLua, who came off the bench against Manchester United last Wednesday night, also looks to get a game tonight, and coach Money will choose from the following impressive young squad;
Ole Soderberg, Fraser Forster, Samuel Adjei, Ryan Donaldson, Mark Doninger, Paul Dummett, Shane Ferguson, Jonny Godsmark, Darren Lough, Kazenga LuaLua, Wesley Ngo Baheng, Nile Ranger, James Tavernier, James Taylor, Frank Wiafe Danquah, Haris Vuckic
