This Squad Will Never Be Forgotten At Newcastle – Ever

John Hall is a former  Chairman of Newcastle United in the Keegan days, but more importantly, he  is a life- long fan of the Newcastle Club.

John Hall – team was rubbish – useless

And it seems he was as disgusted as the rest of us with the pathetic, heartless, gutless and demoralizing display of our team in the last 45 minutes of the season.

Who would have thought a single goal would have saved our season – absolutely nobody!

This must never happen again, and we have to fully agree with John Hall – who told the Sun today:

“The table doesn’t lie,”

“It’s been desperately poor and the worst thing is they didn’t even appear to try on Sunday (1-0 defeat at Aston Villa).”

“I’m not going to pull any punches. This current side is rubbish. Useless.”

We could put what John says above in another way:

The side were an absolute disgrace to the history and name of the Newcastle United club, with only a few exceptions.

Never again can we have players who don’t give a hoot about the club.

In fact didn’t we see a couple of them making cell phone calls to their agents, during the second half? 😀

Maybe that was an illusion, as we went through an agonizing and  very painful final 45 minutes of shame and disenchantment, in one of the worst seasons in Newcastle’s long and rather distinguished history.

These players will never be forgotten on Tyneside and we (and they) know who they are.

The players should be ashamed of themselves, but we know most of them will not be, such is the narcissistic character of far too many of the players at the club.

Of course a lot of them will have already left Newcastle, never to return – good.

No flies on Sir John, the man that out voted Freddie to get rid of Bobby Robson then left Freddy to sack him.

The man that said we needed Ashley a man of means who would take the club to new heights.

What a star. How to undo everything good that he ever did.

I am strangely excited about next season. I was absolutely ruined on Sunday but now I feel like we have thrown off the shackles of mediocrity. I also think that we needed this season to end as it was hellish start to finish. All this talk of who will or wont be there next season is interesting. I know I will be there next season.

Christ you’ld think we had never been relegated before. This lot are sh*ye (with 2 or 3 exeptions) but they’re not the worst team I’ve seen wearing black & white.

His apology seemed vague but it’s an apology all the same. Humility goes a long way!

If Shearer is prepared to work for him then I am prepared to give him another shot.

I trust Shearer and he has my full support!

    Come on the TOON!

How we could have done with a few more Scotty Parkers this season. Maybe lacking technical ability, but he doesn’t like to loose.

The team has big recognised names and big wages, but when it comes down to it we have very few people who want to make it there responsiblity and have the balls to step up, take control of games when we are losing.

This squad as it is wouldnt hack it in the championship (im being hypothetical because the squad will change). Ability wise we would be the best but anyone who watched the playoffs, especially burnley, and the passion, desire and grit shown in the championship would know what im on about.

Ashley said tonight: “Seeing Newcastle United relegated from the Premier League has been a catastrophe for us all.

“I fully accept that mistakes were made during this and previous seasons and I am very sorry for that.

“I would like to say sorry to our magnificent supporters who have turned up in their thousands, home and away, up and down the country and who have given the team amazing backing throughout.

“And I would also say sorry to all of the club’s hard-working staff, who have gone about their jobs all year long.

“Bringing Alan Shearer back to Newcastle United was the best decision I have made. Alan and his staff did all they could to try and keep us up in the short space of time they had.”

“Talks are now ongoing on how we can take this club forward.”
thats like a statement you make when you have been on the lash and wake up next to a fat
