LuaLua Excited To Play Anywhere For Magpies

Kazenga LuaLua, the exciting midfield prospect for Newcastle, has spoken about his desire to play first team football this season.

Kazenga LuaLua-Excited about his prospects this year

Kazenga’s statement is as follows:

“Right wing, left wing or in the middle – I don’t mind where I play. If Chris wants me to play in any position, I can’t refuse – I just want to play football.

I don’t mind playing anywhere for this club, and I can give the manager different options.

I can play in centre midfield or up front, but I prefer to play on the wings, because I like to take people on and cross the ball, or have a shot. I also like to come inside.”

This is a great attitude displayed by this youngster who has dynamic ability. I’m sure his skill will be utilized this season as Newcastle are currently lacking in this department. LuaLua is definitely, along with Nile Ranger, one of the prized assets of Newcastle’s youth academy and has been since his arrival in 2005. We’ll see what part plays in tonight’s friendly against Leeds.

This would be funny if it wasn’t true! Shame he can only occupy one of those positions at any one time

“It looks like Alan Shearer will not be Newcastle manager for the new season as BBC presenter Gary Lineker says the former Magpies and England striker will once again be joining him on Match Of The Day.”

of course he will be on Match of the day, unless something happens at Newcastle united regarding a takeover then he will manage us!! its not rocket science. the quotes are in the sun as well.

Strong starting line-up today… would have preferred LuaLua for R. Taylor, but looks like a strong line-up

hitman-i think Lineker was more just using common sense and his worse have been twisted by the media a little, surprise surprise.
I was under the impression he had said it was his thinking, that Shearer would be on MOTD next season, just without actually saying “due to the fact that he’s in limbo with regards to the newcastle job and no one really knows whats going on”

The likes of TalkSport were then apparently reporting that he’d “let slip” Shearer would be on MOTD next season and not managing us. Which isnt really what he said at all. He just said he was under the impression Shearer would be working with him, due to his current situation with our club.

we’ve apparently started quite well, with Barton looking lively. Support is understandably subdued however, Leeds fans only ones making any noise. 5 mins in and it sounds like the “your support is f**kin sh!t” chants have already started. Leeds effort inches wide of the post there

aye the Chron quality is really poor like, i’m sure it will improve as the weeks go by if they continue to do it though. Just mentioning there how Dowie today said him and Shearer had their entire pre season mapped out, friendlies, targets, the lot.

SJT- 0-0. Dunno about the attendance but they mentioned the Sir Bobby match earlier and said as far as the crowd was concerned there was nothing like that there tonight. Whether they meant atmosphere or numbers-wise im not sure, but its been incredibly boring so far by the sounds of things.

I wud take 0-0 for a morale booasting result – after all we are playing a team a league below us and at home. I hope Ashley comes on at half time and does a Delia as its obvious that the team are doing their very best and it the fault of the fans for not spurring them on. Smith for Enlgand on this showing

Obafan-aye, by the sounds of things Bassong has missed a header that should have been stuck away, Ryan Taylor has hit the bar and he forced a point blank save in the first half aswell.

Raffo-to be honest mate i wouldnt be surprised if Ashley was just letting one of our highest earners/highest fee paying players go because a rare bid has appeared. I wouldnt be surprised if we saw Martins go with no one coming in.

    Martins is off!

That means there is no takeover in the fore-seeable future! IMO

They are starting the fire sale to pay for wages and other overheads.

This in itself will also make the club more attractive to buy as we won’t have the wage bill we have now.

Shame we’ll be in Divison one!
