Ashley has been the worst owner ever in any high profile football team around the globe. It just had to be us that got him. Our club just can’t seem to go right. Its been a downward spiral, one bad descision leads to another, its just never ending, and still going on.

I think Alan said something along the lines of asking to remove that annoying emoticon advert from the site. OMG NO WAY.

Would love to think so Toon Factor but from what saw of him last year all he did was run and couldn’t cross to save his life, reminded me of Franz Carr. He will be up and down the pitch with no end product, but oh how I would love him to prove me wrong

    SJT, very funny (and true)
Barton has stormed out of training yesterday after ruck with the 2 argies, reports saying he won’t play today.

I’ve been watching football for a long time and have a properly horrible feeling about today.

Dunno bout anyone else, but I found it almost heartbreaking listening to Al this morning.

Imagine going in today with new owners, Beye, Bassong and a few decent signings?

    Makes me want to puke.

I am sure Ashley will be feeling sorry for us all in Hawaii.

Stuart-pathetic if true. We needed him today, whether we like it or not he looked one of our best players in pre season. Pathetic, yet another set back.

They were in Europe last time we were promoted. Jeremy Goss etc.

    Well, what a surprise!
Hands up all those people who thought Shearer was wrong to have a go at Barton for getting sent off against Liverpool?
I said some time ago that if he stayed ( and I hope not) we’d be lucky to get 10 games out of him this season. Terrible man, terrible attitude.

…that’s what I heard, baro. Who knows, fact is he’s apparently stormed off like a tw@t. Load of @rse. Hope Ranger gets a decent look-in; and LuaLua.

I would say Vuckic too, but that would be ridiculous.

    TEAM NEWS

CHRIS Hughton opts for a 4-4-2 formation for the opening game of the season at West Brom with Geordie duo Andy Carroll and Shola Ameobi lining up in attack.

That means Kevin Nolan, previously deployed as a deep-lying frontman during the summer, reverts back into central midfield where is joined by skipper Alan Smith.

Not all that bad to be fair lads as if big al comes back then he will get rid of barton anyway.

I think it will be a case of him having a go at the argy’s for not putting in effort and heart etc. but he will be the fall guy, but i know who i would rather have on the pitch!
