Joe Kinnear Could Still Be Shock Choice As New Manager

We have to believe that the deadlock at Newcastle will be broken this weekend with Mike Ashley announcing he has taken the club off the market.

Joe Kinnear – is he preparing to take over again at Newcastle?

We understand that David O’Leary has been approached by Managing Director Derek Llambias to be the new manager, if that were to happen, but there are signs that David may not even want the job.

We think that Joe Kinnear would be second choice and even first choice, had he been fit enough to take over immediately.

But there are rumblings in the press as the betting odds on Joe were being cut yesterday, even though it is only a week since he said he would not be fit enough to be a manager until around October.

But we have to think even Mike Ashley knows right now that the Newcastle club are a complete joke, the way he has handled the sale this summer.

The sooner he tries to bring some stability to the club the better it will be for eveyone concerned.

We’re still hoping that a deal can be agreed with Barry Moat, but the longer this goes on the less chance there seems of that happening.

The odds are now on this man staying as owner, after he has wasted 12 weeks this summer, and had the Newcastle club in a straight jacket, and that has to be shocking news for Newcastle fans everywhere.

When will be the next time he does this and puts the Newcastle club up for sale again and starts this nonsense all over again?

With the news everton have bid 8mil for taylor and whoever bidding 4mil for duff, i have to say i am totally panicking now at the thought of our team in september…..seriously we cant afford to let these two go….duff isnt great but he is our only left winger…!!! We will be a squad decimitated by MA firesale! plus we ALWAYS have loads of injuries so where will that put us! extremely worrying times, reckon the club is going down again at this rate…we wont be able to field a team at all never mind one capable of promotion…..i would like as explanation as to what he thinks he is doing to our club! Cos he certainly dont have any interest in getting back into premier league or retaining any players!!!

does he ever respond or even read the things? i would sooner freddy shepherd had kept the club….i know we had massive debts but hey doest every club! he never ever got us in this state and we were always comfortably in the premier league! I would rather we went into administration and have 10 points docked than all this rubbish happening like and if he doesnt sell…..same happens again in january then again in summer! Come on freddy raise the cash!

I really cant believe we had 52,000 strong turning up week in week out with a 10,000 queue for season tickets and champions league football….now we will be lucky to have 30,000 there on saturday and are in the championship….what the hell has he done and yet he still keeps going!

Doubt Llambias is reading emails from that address, some marketing trainee reads the emails and sends out generic replies where appropriate (i.e. not asking any difficult questions etc)

Mike Ashley just wanted to be another Thaksin Shinawatra. (Former Man City Owner)

But at least Thaksin really sell his ownership to a more than capable personal. And that’s what he say when he sold the club to a better hands. (In terms of cash, at least)

What ws this Mike Ashley doing? i really hope to know.

i am never abusive to him because i dont want to end up getting into trouble. I simply point out the type of things we all discuss on here.
To think we had people like stardust defending him on here and branding anyone who dared point out his obvious flaws as mobish bedsheet nutters..

the situation is now getting desperate and we need to see soem action soon if season is not to be a complete disaster. it now looks like the club cant be sold. so its time for plan b.
agree nobody wants this but something needs to be done now|!
kinnear wouldnt be anybodys 1st choice but clearly shearer isnt goingto happen any time soon. is it not better that kinear or for that matter any manager is appointed and can at least make some sensible signing befor ethe deadline. we need to replace soem of these out going players or we will not can get a team out.
i would also suggest that most of the out going transfers are good deals for nufc

Come on – we have absolutely no evidence about the JFK thing. Ashley’s indicated that there may be a place for him, but it won’t be in the dugout.

This is just tabloid BS and we’re falling for it.

    No change there, then.

No surprise at all. Because Kinnear is the only one manager who can work under Mike Ashley. He’s YES man, we all know. Maybe Ashley should offer him to be his pet too.

It’s a smokescreen, something else must be going on, surely? The biggest danger is the O’Leary as manager with JFK as Dennis Wise replacement scenario. Once this system is embedded you can kiss the club goodbye until it goes into administration or gets sold. And as for attractive football – you’ll have more chance watching the Sunderland Ladies team.
