Simpson – Success In All Competitions Possible

Danny Simpson will play tonight, and believes success in all competitions can be the key to promotion for Newcastle.

Danny Simpson – success breeds success

Danny told the Evening Chronicle today:

“There is no reason why we can’t have a good run in this.”

“You never know what can happen in them. You’d rather be in them then not.”

“They have to come to St James’s Park and it will be a big night for them. We just have to put on a show again for our fans.”

“I think with the group of players we’ve got at the moment and the way we are all buzzing like we are, there is no reason why we can’t carry it on.”

Simpson again looked a class act last Saturday at Crystal Palace and after two full games for the club has yet to taste defeat or concede a goal in a black and white shirt.

Simpson continued:

“We’re on a roll now. We just want to keep winning, it’s great when it is like this and you want to play in every game.”

“A long unbeaten run is important if you want to get promoted and you can keep on winning in the cups.”

And Simpson was pleased to be allowed to play in the League Cup tie with Huddersfield tonight. Simpson will now be cup-tied for Manchester Unitred should he return to Old Trafford in January when his loan spell is over.

Fabio and Rafael Silva – future full backs at Old Trafford
Or is it Rafael and Fabio?

But of course The Red Devils have loads of young talent at the club and the Silva identical twins, Brazilians Fabio and Rafael Silva, are probably the two full backs of the future at Old Trafford.

Danny continued:

“I am allowed to play which I am pleased about.”

“It gives me the chance to play in consecutive games and get the fitness levels up high.

“I just want to be involved in games for Newcastle United and play at St James’s because it is such a buzz.”

We hope we’ll be able to sign Danny full time come January, if he continues his excellent early form at Newcastle, which is what we expect.

Hope he keeps it up, excellent attitude and application so far. If he can maintain what he’s doing so far then we would be fools not to sign him in Jan, or at least extend his loan.

This is nice y’know, talking about NUFC rather than having to read people bitching at each other.

    Ladies,

Bob Moncur just said on the Legends that his contacts have told him that the club have been talking to this Sheard guy for a few weeks and there is something in it.

    Watch this space I guess.

I’ll believe this Sheard stuff if anything actually happens. Which I genuinely doubt I’m afraid.

In fact why I check the news regarding the Toon more than once per week is utterly beyond me…

As for those players GG, I expect that they’re pretty good players. However we won’t be buying them or any others unless the club is sold on or by Friday at the very latest. Doesn’t look very hopeful does it?

Nice words from Danny, not sure about the slightly homosexual, cheesy American pose though, lad. He looks like one of those models taht appear in those “fantastic abs in just 4 weeks” products, lol.

I understand where Danny is coming from with this, and I would agree with him under normal circumstances, but these are not normal circumstances.

With the squad being so small I think that we will just be storing up problems for the coming months. Injuries to key players and suspensions could play a vital part in our success or otherwise in the league this season.

Should we suddenly find that we have an influx of new players then I would wholeheartedly agree with him. We will just have to see how we do in this tie tonight, the situation with the take-over this week and finally the closing of the transfer window.

This week could be the defining period for our clubs success or otherwise for years to come.

To be fair, Danny’s got rather well-shaped eyebrows if you look on some pictures. They look like he plucks them. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s good friends with Xisco to be honest. Not that it matters in the slightest, but he does look as if he might be gay.

As for Coloccini, that’d be a good rumour for you to start Ryan – and if you’re proven right you have my blessing to crow all you like!

    I hope not Bill:

We’re not going to be sold and we’re not going to sign anyone. Not before the end of this transfer window anyway.

    Geordie Gerrard-

Maybe Newcastle should hire Megan Fox to wear a skimpy little bikini and prance around SJP on game day. Raise ticket prices by ten pounds. Bet people would pay it 😉
