If you’re a fan of naill and biffa – the resident racists at .com, for “video highlights” read “apocalypse now”!

Toon Chicken – do you read true faith? The weekly write up is nearly always spot on!

Graeme – no I don’t read True Faith but I see they have a link for NUSC at the top of their page which doesn’t instantly endear them to me.

Surely this is a bit contradictory too, no?

    From About Us:

“The editorial policy of true faith is to edit rather than censor though we will not publish material wihich is libellous, motivated by personal spite or which is hate-filled (e.g. racist etc).”

    From Fool’s Gold (article):

“fear struck us that the fat cockney knacka may conclude we have enough for this campaign.”

I wasn’t there.. But looking at the highlights I would feel better seeing Harper in the goal again.. Krul looks a little nervous, doesn’t he?

Great on the line, but out in the field, he doesn’t show great quality–

    Hope we keep Nolan!

We all have to be a little careful of libel – as we just get carried away with the nonsense at the club under Ashley. Don’t forget the people who run the blogs are just Newcastle fans.

    Things we learned last night:

    1. There is a reason why the kids don’t get played more often.

    2. Ameobi, once he’s injury-free and has had a full pre-season, is a bit of a handful.

    3. He still looks like a horse falling down stairs when he runs.

    4. The Toon Army are bloody magnificent. 23,000!

Whumpie the visuals conjured up by point three had tears in my eyes, and quite an apt description I think. :-))

Nice to see the team know how to come back from a defecit and have the confidence they so badly lacked last season.
Guess there`s nothing more to lose and they are playing for themselves, yeah winning can become a habit.
I dont care who they are playing for, as long as they continue to win.
One thing i`m sure of, the pressure is off, they seem to be a more relaxed side and more to-gether.
If we were to play the season with this team it could quite easily result in promotion, however dont think it`s gonna happen, gotta get the wage level reduced.
When one looks at teams like Man. U. & L`Pool.
and see how highly leveraged they are then compare NUFC who are no where near as indebted, one wonders was Ashley really serious.
Had he not looked at how things worked on a financial level as an owner of a PL club.
Fact is few if any clubs are projecting to be in the black this present season.
I`m sure MA will be tempted to keep Hughton as manager, now that we are on a streak.
Believe that would be a big mistake, now is the ideal time to look for someone for the future, not a retread but a good young up and comming type, who could begin the rebuilding process and get us into the PL with a competative young side.
Gonna nominate Steve Clarke @ W/Ham with John Carver as overall coach, would be a great combo.
But then what do I know compared to Mr Ashley & Mr Llambias.
