Danny Simpson Just Loving Life At Newcastle

For those of you who have trouble taking this after so long – we have to warn you up front that this article could be considered another positive one related to Newcastle United.  What’s going on? 😀

Danny Simpson – we need more pictures of this lad in black and white

Apparently Danny Simpson has been so impressed by life at Newcastle United and he just seems to love everything about Newcastle United.

After jut 2 weeks on Tyneside, and after talking as though he’s been at the club for 10 years, that doesn’t really surprise us – but it’s still great to hear!

And Danny has no doubt made an impressive start to his Newcastle career, turning in a few classy displays already, as we’ve made good headway already in the Championship promotion race. Yes – it’s early days yet and we certainly need to keep it up.

And this news has to reflect well on Chris Hughton and the way he’s brought the lads together, and that has manifested itself big time on the pitch, as the lads never know when they are beaten – shades of when the great Bobby Robson was at Newcastle.

Danny said yesterday, while at the launch of our nice looking blue and black (or should that be black and blue?) strip:

“I’m loving it – I’ve been here for 10 days and I love the way things are going,”  “I know I’ve only been here for a week or so but I’m really happy – moving here for good is something I’d like to do. It’s a massive club.”

“I’ve come here on loan but I want to play week in-week out now, and I’m not put off by the uncertainty.”  “To be honest I’ve not even noticed any of the supposed uncertainty or chaos. Obviously I heard rumours before I came but I’ve come up and it’s been totally normal for me – no different from any other club.”

“The players have trained just like any other club, the staff are just the same and you wouldn’t know that all this other stuff is going on.”  “The players are playing together and everyone is on a high at the moment. Morale is good and we just want things to keep going now.”

That’s a credit to the coaching staff on Tyneside right now, and the fighting spirit is now there for all to see – just look at what happened Wednesday night.

But it’s so very unlike last season isn’t it?    Good.

I haven’t seen much of Danny boy play, does he have the ability to be a regular premiership right back? I know he’s already got some PL experience.

This speaks volumes for Houghton … and he deserves credit for keeping the team in good spirits …

… seems like last year was a different club altogether …

I’d put them both up there.

Barton in Smiths spot on midfield.

Does anyone reckon Smith might start getting back in the goals. He was quite good at that once.

its nice to hear such a positive vibe coming out of the training ground, it really makes a difference, though i think he should stay as right back. Hopefully tayls and colo’s non appearance on wednesday is just rest rather than hughton trying out different options because he know’s they are off

I think the injuries and Fergie have ruined Smith as a CF tbh. I never expect him to score even in the box.

Him and Ranger are different types of player though so it might work to start Smith to soften their defence up a bit then switch to Ranger or run them down with Ranger so Smith has the legs on them.

    Oh the options… 🙁

Its not coaching rocket science or a diploma from Lilleshall, its about winning games. That sorts out your morale and brings a so-called ‘feel-good factor’. Nothing more and nothing less. Same happened when Glen Roeder came in first. Wait and see what the ‘togetherness’ is like when we’ve lost three on the bounce.
3 points = happy players and happy fans.

I read it somewhere last week where he said he wanted someone with either more football experience or someone who was a toon fan/geordie?!

Would make sence like, but isnt that what the Star have just wrote about?? putting two and two together and printing that story.

I dont see how doing that would improve things as the new manager etc would still be tied by ashleys restrictions

Hey the guys here on loan untill the winter window, whats he gonna say, I hate it here ?
Most kids comming out of the Man. U. system are decent, lets see how he does.
If he looks like a keeper try and get him for the season, whatever happens after that, remains to be seen.
We are probably lucky to get him, however big shoes to fill (Beye).

it would be good if Mike Ashley put some one like moat in charge because i blame all our problems on Llambias he knows nowt about football i would liken him to a weasel & i have in good authority Mick Ashley has never taken 1 penny out of Newcastle lets have an owner with a smile on his face & his hand in his pockets again, as its looking likely that Mick Ashley will still be hear next Wednesday its simple he will be remembered for what he does this year not last. we cant change the past but we can influence the future.

just stop writing it, its all pointless, the only answer is to stay away

stop attending games and force ashley to sell

what is wrong is it too complicated ?
