We have several excellent keepers, shall we call it a competitive central midfield with Barton / Nolan and Smith who seems to be the real thing as captain, take your pick from Ranger big Andy or Shola up front and we have a strong spine supported by very talented youngsters, players getting forward, goals across the team, and not least an excellent team spirit now we have got rid of the backsliding mercenaries. We even seem to be getting tactics right. I am cautiously optimistic. I think the team is looking good. So when we get back into the premiership they will be ready made for it which could lead to us having a much better side in the premiership. We still need to strengthen though but I'm not concerned for one second with playing the kids. Duff never really got going while he was here and the less said about cacapa the better . Of the 11 players only Beye & Bassong will be missed . The youngsters we now have are hungry to prove themselves and will add more to the side than most of those now gone . Yes we could do with a couple more loan signings , but the team on the whole have improved just by getting rid of the money grabbers .
