The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting:
An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated
Ed Harrison

Comment #6We can blame the ref for not giving the penalty, but that’s not why we didn’t win the match. Look at all the shots that didn’t go in, something’s not normal there.

Comment #7It’s hurt when I have to accept we get only 1 points from this game but we have to live with it. Hopefully we will be better next game after some rest.

Comment #8How the feck the ref didn’t give a pen for that is beyond me.
Either way, alkinou is right. We had plenty of other chances that didn’t go in and we’ve only got ourselves to blame for that. We’ve missed out on what could have been a good lead at the top of the table and it’s the same story as always – we never take our bleeding chances!

Comment #9Just seen the highlights there because i couldnt be @rsed sitting up for that cr@p football league show last night.
Looks like Harewood was unlucky in hitting the post with his chances. Their GK also pulled out some brilliant saves to keep us at bay, the Nolan header being the best of the bunch for me from what i saw.
As far as the penalty goes, its a shocking decision and the linesman should take just as much blame as the ref. Obviously i only saw the decision once from one angle but i’d like to see where the linesman is, because i can only assume he’s not keeping up with play. If he is, it just makes the decision even worse. Harewood has turned the defender and is in on goal, he’s taken down after he’s beaten his man, how its not given i dont know because its the definition of stone wall penalty.
I’m gonna put this down to it just not being our day. From what i read our performance improved second half, we’ve rattled the bar a couple of times, been stopped by saves that their GK wouldnt have made 99/100 times and been denied an obvious penalty. Just gotta move on and pick up 3 points.

Comment #18Wise came across as quite sincere actually! Seems the whole Nacho thing was not over agent fees or players fees but down to players wages coming to the 1mil! Also said it was an agreement with the agents that Newcastle would get first dibs on South American youngsters due to it…seemed a clever thing to me really!
Also said he can’t see Mike selling this season….hmmmm not happy about that en!! Mainly due to the Hughton situation though!

Comment #19Briefly he brushed the whole thing off saying everyone has disagreements in football and that the Nacho deal was good for the club without explaining the way he treat Keegan.
Had a good dig about poor Mike being worried about the 25m and said there was definitely an offer on the table for more than 2m.
Waffled on a bit without actually saying anything but siding with Ashley and at the end said he was looking for a job as a manager but not in the North East as he has had a few unpleasant train journeys up here.
All in all, a smug little get with no remorse.

Comment #25Hehe yeah I was just gonna say its strange how we’ve come up with 2 different views! Think its cos I never really blamed Wise, he did his job and that’s that! MA and Lamearse are the ones to blame in my eyes! Those two muppets have treat the club like a small corner shop business!

Comment #26@Mikey25: Have you read the tribunals verdict? A very interesting read. Especially this bit:
20. This was repeated by some of the Club’s witnesses (i.e. that the position was that Mr Keegan had the final say save for financial or commercial deals) but some of those **same witnesses then asserted later in their evidence that Mr Keegan never had the final say and Mr Wise was not prepared to accept that Mr Keegan ever had the final say**, even apart from financial and commercials deals. This lack of clarity, indeed confusion, in the understanding of the Club’s own representatives as to this critical issue makes it, in our view, even less likely that it would and should have been clear to Mr Keegan from what he was told at the meeting on 16 January 2008 that he would not have the final say.
Wise is perfectly innocent, right, Mikey?

Comment #27I never said he was 100% blameless just I do not blame him for the plight of us! He did his job, if somebody told me to do something in my job i’d do it without question!
End of the day yeah he did not give KK the final say but MA should have stepped in if he did not like it! Wise was MAs little puppet and had his backing 100%! KK was never trusted, he was only there to appease the fans and that was plain to see by all!
MA is the boss, he takes ultimate responsibility in my eyes, Wise was a pawn in MAs little plaything that is our great club!

Comment #29So we had a commercial deal that would ensure that we get first dibs on top South American talent…what’s wrong with that? KK wanted any reason to walk out as he can’t handle pressure. He is weak. Everyone has known that since the 90’s. This “man’s” return has done nothing but send the club backwards a few more steps. We shouldn’t of gone near that circus master with a barge pole.
Im glad he is gone, the man is a pathetic coward. Trying to claim 20million + from the club he “loves” has revealed him for what he is. A fraudster. He spouts all of this and that about it being about his “reputation” HA! What reputation!? His reputation as being weak mentally and a complete coward maybe?
Anyway, if it was all for his reputation and 0% about the money then i expect to see him donate his winnings to an NUFC charity or grass roots fund. After all, he hasn’t earned a penny of it…Won’t happen though will it?
