Khizanishvili Happy To Be Involved At Newcastle Club

Zurab Khizanishvili has played a few games since he arrived on loan on Tyneside from Blackburn Rovers, and he seems happy just to be involved at Newcastle United.

Zurab Khizanishvili – glad to be involved at Newcatsle
Zurab told the Evening Chronicle today:

“This is an open division and there are still a lot of games to go.” “Nothing is certain yet. If we keep doing the right things, we’ll be OK.”

“But I think that not only West Brom and Middlesbrough will be up there, also five or six others who can challenge us if they put a run together.”   “It is only early yet, but we’ll see who they are.””

“Newcastle may be in the Championship, but for me everything about the place is Premier League.”  “You can see that as soon as you walk through the door – and so can other teams.”

“It’s a club that deserves to be in the top division and that’s what we are going out there to achieve.”   “I am really enjoying my time here so far.” “I hadn’t played so many games when I arrived.”

“Now because of the nature of the Championship a lot of games have come in a short space of time.”   “There are certainly no complaints from me about playing each week.”

With the likelihood that both Enrique and Coloccini will be fit for our game at Nottingham Forest a week come Saturday, it will be interesting to see which back four Hughton picks from Simpson Taylor Coloccini Khizanishvili and Enrique.

Zurab could well  find himself to be the odd man out.

    the only players that should make an automatic return to the team are players who we don’t have any competition with, & apart from Enrique, i cant apply it to any other, possibly smith. if a player comes in and plays well leave him in the team until theirs a reason to remove him.

    Players who will (possibly) cut it in the prem right now;

    Harper, Taylor, Khizanishvili, Smith, Nolan, Barton, Harewood, Jonas.

    That’s depending on whether Jonas really ups his end product, Barton finds his true form, and of course Harewood becomes a permanent deal.

    Enrique needs to take this season to make sure he cuts out his sometimes costly mistakes, because in the prem they will be heavily punished.

    We need a lot of top quality players brought in when we get promoted, because if we don’t spend good, then we wont stay up, becoming a yo yo club and falling into that trap other clubs have.
