I think everyone is jumping the gun and two been very harsh of Chris Hughton

He has not been appointed....yet

And if he is ( which i hope he is ) he deserves it , has done a good job so far, we were never gonna go through the whole season or unbearten , we will take a dip in form , simple as . But he has done enough for this club for the fans the support him. No I dont think he would be the worlds greatest appointment but he will do a good job and every fan who is calling for his head really needs to look at themsleves.

Now I would of always considered myself fairly pro-ashley and thought that his intentions were in the right place but he failed miserebly and needs to go.

But dont take the fight against Ashley and turn it to hughton.

Looking at all this we were all happy with MA. He fired Big Sam for us until KK came and then he left for a small reason I dont understand and then from that moment MA became the enemy.

I dont mind MA and I have never he is a man who set his goals and werent achieved. He loved us watched games with us with no fear had KK name on the back of his T.shirt.

I still think KK coming back was wrong move and the turning point for the club. I only wish we had got another manager.(Dechamps or Macelino).

Al has no experience not even coaching anywhere.

same sentiments as above. Roeder all over again, will anyone ever learn. Why do always end up with either saps (roeder and hughton) or mugs (take your pick) as managers. Just a good reasonably experienced manager with balls. As a few people have said, the 'yes man', I'll do whatever is asked of me and not criticise anyone or thing approach seems to be enough to get you a managers job. We've played some proper rubbish football this season, it's just most teams are even worse than us in the championship.

At the weekend Ashley states Moat has one week to come up with 80 million. Then he goes and offers Hughton talks after the Doncaster game. Then why make any statement at all now?
Why say anything - have talks and then, if there's a positive outcome, make an announcement.

It looks to me like Ashley and Llambias using Hughton to pressure Moat and possibly Shearer into finally making a move. If so, it is despicable, shabby treatment of Hughton. If Shearer does come in now, Hughton pretty much has to go after saying he definitely wants the top job. Up until now, discreet Chris has always kept himself silent so he could quietly slip back into the coaching ranks if Shearer or someone else came in. Instead, Llambias has now conned CH into holding a press conference - saying what exactly? There's been talks about talks?

Time will sort everything out. If we don't do that well under CH over the whole season, the situation will be reviewed and changed if necessary. If we do well then there's no problem.
I'd rather have Shearer but will get behind the team no matter what.

It does make me a little embarrassed when I read the Goddawful posts that most "fans" put on here - no wonder some of the press call Toon fans whingers.

P.S. I have a small glimmer of hope that CH or CC reads this, guys, for the sake of your own professional integrity and reputations, turn down this poison chalice. It will end in tears, ours and yours.

Ok, I've been diplomatic about this so far (which makes a change from my personality by the way), but CH is no manager, he never will be, just like the last stint that CH and CC took charge they looked out of their depth when faced with an inefficient tactic that wasn't going their way... they have no idea how to switch play and change formation. CH & CC are coaches, not in any way shape or form managers. If they were CC would have it nailed on the head against forest. We have been sussed already in the fizzy pop league, watch our position plummet. We might have well have appointed Glenn Roeder again, as this is the same situation, nice guy, decent coach, management ability and tactical ability... less than zero.

As fans (Prob like his employee's) there is nothing we can do.

You can say you're not going to the matches anymore but when the revenue starts to drop and the club becomes in danger of not being able to stay afloat all ashley would do is put club into Administration and put the blame on us.

You can hold demonstrations and what not but all that does is unsettle the players and then the team plays poor (if its possible at the min).

We are left in an unwinnable situation with the club not for sale and no transfer money available and a squad which should breeze through the league struggling for form.

I've been saying all along that Fat Tw*t & Lamarse will stay I really do believe that they objective is to ruin the club. Houghton has done okay but the last 3 games has shown up his shortcomings as a manager. That's it for me I hope we don't get promoted & I won't be back at SJP until this lot have gone. Sad Day for all true toon fans we are f*cked we can forget the Premier League for a long time
