Newcastle United have been rocked by a double defensive injury blow, just before his afternoon’s vital game against Doncaster Rovers.
Fabricio Coloccini (groin) and Danny Simpson (ankle) have been ruled out through injury, and this is a huge surprise and severely weakens Newcastle ‘s defense this afternoon.
19-year-old Hungarian Tamas Kadar will finally make his full Premier League debut, as the club looks to end a run of four Championship games without a win.
But these late changes could well further unnerve the side, who have already had their confidence significantly shaken by losing to Scunthorpe last Tuesday night.
These surprising and unexpected injuries don’t help, and we’ll have to hope that Tansa Kadar fits in well at the back, and we’ve been singing his praises recently, as a young player who should be given his chance.
Marlon Harewood – who was a substitute at Scunthorpe United – returns to partner Andy Carroll up front, while Geremi drops down to the bench, after starting at Scunthorpe.
Ryan Taylor continues at right back.
