Is Ashley Having Second Thoughts Of Keeping Newcastle?

Still no announcement that Chris Hughton has been given the permanent manager job.

Mike Ashley – second thoughts?
And with the Barry Moat offer still up in the air, we’ll have to wait a day or two to see what goes on.

Maybe the altercation Ashley had with the fans on Tuesday night after the Scunthorpe defeat, has given him second thoughts about keeping the club,  and that it may be better for his health to sell up.

Ashley has ended talks with Geoff Sheard and the Star Foundation, and we are told that Barry Moat has put in a revised offer on the table for the Tyneside club, but just how revised it is,  is anybody’s guess.

Once Chris Hughton is appointed permanent manager we can give up the ghost on Ashley leaving the club anytime soon.

And that will be time for regret that this man can keep a club, even though he has completely mismanaged it, and now has it in the second division, due to his complete and utter incompetence of trying to manage a football club.

No club should be held to ransom like this, by such an incompetent person, however rich he is said to be – certainly his wealth has done nothing for Newcastle.

Needs to stay to ensure Wise has his contract honoured!!
That 20k a week could have been used to bring a bit of badly needed creativity into the team anarl

i remember the time thousands of us would stand outside the directors entrance in protest at our board screaming abuse at them , waiting for them to appear, singing that good old song “sack the board” (any body remember the words) nothing changed, buy you went home happy, so perhaps ,more abuse, more gathering outside the entrance, more obcenities(is that how you spell it ?) if that dont work, agood rendition of sack the board might get him thinking ( at least you’ll go home happy)

    There’s a song in this:
“Set me free, why don’t ya babe,
    you just keep me hangin’on”

Hate to say it, but if Ashley wasn’t seriously scared at that match, it really may help if he was. He’s clearly an irrational, fickle and emotionally driven man who reacts petulently when things don’t go his way.

So while I’d never sanction physical violence, consistent intimidation and abuse may just do the trick. Sorry, but nowt else has worked…

I agree with Whumpie. We need to be yelling at this fat monkey every chance we get. Boo him, taunt him, make life as uncomfortable for him as possible. We should also be appealing to the FA to support us in any way possible.
