Leon Cort?! Haha, don’t make me laugh. It’s nonsense to buy 1m players from other clubs in UK, then you’ll get nothing. If you don’t have money to spend, look to Scandinavia or eastern Europe, there you can get decent players for small amounts of money.

Llambias’ words as written here are “If Chris sees a player he wants to buy for a million pounds or so we will go out and get him for the team.”.

What, Ed, makes you say that Cort may be THE £1m player to be signed? His words do not include ‘one’ at all.

But of course, Ashley’s past performance in the transfer market do not exactley inspire confidence that there may be more.

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Kadar is starting to look the part at last. He will probably be a life saver at LB if, more likely when, Enrique is out for a sustained period.

Now that Collo and Taylor are back we should be ok, but we missed them badly for a few games and that shows how little depth we have.

Simpson we absoulutely have to try and keep hold of perminantly IMO. Kishanishvilli on a season long loan if possible but not good enough for the prem if we get promoted.

First choice defense.
