Wdftt we should not be playing one striker at home for god sake, if at all. But I like the idea of guthrie playing but I don’t see how we can break up the middle four unless we only played three at the back. And I definatly am not advocating that although I feel in this div colo ST and Jose could easily handle that just the midfieldwould be too defensivaly minded and just invite too much pressure onto us. Anyhow I’ve digressed a little. We need to pick two up front Carroll and ranger as Carroll finally put in a very goodshift and started to get me to change my view on him.

Kadar has played well but still S.Taylor is S.Taylor. We are at home and we need Guthrie back in that team to entertain the fans. Butt will know he will have to sit. All I know is that CH is going to try everything to win matches.

Buda Boom, totally agree that we are useless at keeping the ball, pretty much like a lot of English sides, but like i said before Lovenkrands is a confidence player just like all players are, the guy needs a bit of time to pick up his fitness and gain in confidence by playin’ in his favoured position. If he plays just off one of the big forwards pcking out the opportunities they create he would offer a different dimension to our play. He just needs game time in his favoured position to be effective.

Newcastle Mole, i think the reason he looks disinterested is because he’s being played outta position, which leads to a lack of confidence resulting in him lookin’ like he’s not trying. Plus he never had any sort of pre season apart from keeping fit with Rangers, so it will take him a while to find his feet again.

Every game he’s taken part in this season he cant be bothered, reminds me of Owen.
Its been mentioned before by others and its true, he only plays well when he’s nearing end of his contract (either to get a new deal or move to a new club).

I’ll give any player a chance but they have to give 100% for the team.

Lovenkrands offers a good option through the middle, preferably playing alongside Ranger. Hughton seems to play him out wide which is not his position. Lovenkrands and Ranger offer more movement and would be a more effective combo than 2 big guys up front. I wouldn’t write the guy off totally because as the season progresses he will become an important member of the team, especially when we sell players in Jan.
