Bolton Will Win The Race To Sign Jack Wilshere

Sky Sports is reporting this morning that Bolton Wanderers are set to win the chase to sign Arsenal teenager Jack Wilshere on loan for the rest of the season.

Jack Wilshere – on loan to Bolton

And Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed the midfielder will take a temporary move away from the Emirates Stadium, within the next couple of days.

Burnley and West Ham United had been linked with the 18-year-old, and the Burnley move for Wilshere was made initially by new Bolton manager Owen Coyle, who is thought to have now clinched the youngster’s move to the Reebok stadium for the rest of the season.

We’re sure the Burnley club and fans are not too happy with this, especially since Bolton also beat Burnley 1-0 in the PL last night. Oh my.

Owen Coyle is a long-term admirer of Wilshere and with Newcastle also interested in signing the youngster – let’s face it, we didn’t have much of a chance from the start, being in the Championship.

Like it or not, we are currently second class citizens in English football, which is why it is so important to have our club promoted at the very first attempt come May.

If we do get promoted there’s no reason why we cannot lure a couple of very good youngsters from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea for the whole of next season on loan.

The promotion push starts again tonight against Crystal Palace at home, and with Nottingham Forest blowing away QPR last night by 5-0, there’s at least one red-hot team currently in the Championship.

And the lads have to start proving all over again, that we indeed are worthy of promotion this season – and 3 points tonight against Crystal Palace, will certainly help that – as we will go 8 points clear of 3rd placed WBA.

Although providing good experience for Wilshire, it’d be a shame were he to be there if they’re relegated.

On balance, it’ll prove to be valuable experience for him.
