Xisco Wants A Return To Newcastle To Succeed

News today that Newcastle on loan striker Xisco has vowed to return to St James’ Park and prove himself in England.

Oh no!

Xisco – on loan for season at Racing Santandar

Xisco is on a season-long loan with Racing Santander, but the Spanish U21 star has said he does not want to return permanently to Spain at the end of the season.

Xisco said today:

“I’m very happy at Santander and playing with confidence, but I am tied to the Premier League and want to make a go of things there,”

“There is always time in the future to come back to Spain, but I would like to play several good seasons in the Premier League first.”

I have to say that Xisco did have some support at Newcastle, and many though the now 23 year-old was just not given a chance on Tyneside.

My son Neil is one of those, and it’s true Xisco did show some good form last season – but not enough for a player who is said to have cost £6M and was on £50K/week wages.

Xisco has played 14 times this season for Racing Santandar with just 2 goals, and that’s hardly a record that will impress Newcastle.

We don’t think the club will want to pay Xisco’s wages next season, and will hope to sell him this summer, and if that is not possible, then send the lad out on loan to another Spanish club.

Let us know what you think about this development.

I seen him alot before newcastle signed him, for deportivo and spanish under 21’s, he is a good footballer, but needs confidence, needs to be playing regular football, but he doesnt have a future at newcastle not after his comments about feigning injury.

hahahahahaha, he’s awful! The reason he didn’t play much for us is that is was even worse than the crap we had who got us relegated!

To be on 50k week and fake injury to get away the club just coz you are too crap to get into a crap team. Obviously he’s a wonderkid isn’t he?- Wonder why we ever went for him in the 1st place!!! that’s exactly what Keegan thought wasn’t it!

Tell you what then lets get Geremi to play in goal and Nicky Butt to play as a flying winger!!!!!

    Premiership here we come…

He’s got no chance. He’ll be off the wage bill quicker than s**t off a shovel!!!

Hopefully Racing Santandar will put a bid in for him at the end of the season.

We’ll end up taking a huge hit when we sell this lad on so it’s gonna come back and bite Ashley in the ass.

His wages are not welcome at the club, anyone can see that. So no, he will not be welcomed back.

I did like the kid and I think new signings, particularly from Spain, Brazil, Argentina should be given at least 12 months to get used to the game in England. We have seen that with Enrique, Coloccini and to a lesser extent Gutierezz. I would have thought, this season in the Championship, he could of been a massive threat for us. Seen him in Spain and he is a very talented player. People who dismiss that are short sighted and are only going on his Newcastle career.

All that said, no, he won’t be back.

Does he want to return to Newcastle or the prem league, maybe he didn’t notice because of injury but he helped get his team relegated last season!

Poor attitude if anything, shame because I’m sure he can play football just never really seen it yet.

His attitude was suspect but he wouldn’t have played for his national side at any level if he had been total pap! He is another, in a long line of expensive mistakes that wasn’t really given the chance to prove himself. Having said that, he hasn’t exactly been a success on loan either!

Sorry but where does all the Negativity come from?

He is better than Ameobi & Carroll. (During our cup defeat to Hull he outplayed Owen). He was never given a chance by any manager and you wonder why he wanted to get out?

he wants a return…. let him. if he’s hungry, let him have a crack. can’t be any worse than leon bloody best if we get him.

xisco is endemic of this ashley regime, but he should not be cast aside because of it. ok he had last year to prove himself, but as with colo, maybe he just needed time
