Danny To Make Another Debut For Newcastle Tonight

Danny Simpson will make his official debut as a Newcastle player tonight against Cardiff City.

Danny Simpson – official debut tonight

Chirs Hughton told the Evening Chronicle today:

“He (Simpson) can focus on his future and he earned his right to be here.”  “Danny is very enthusiastic and he wanted to sign.” “He is now where he wants to be.”

“He has to grow and develop into this team.” “He knew what he had here and he has played games.”

“Some players come on loan and don’t play, but we allowed him regular first-team football.”

Danny will be keen to play well through the rest of the season for a number of reasons.

Danny will want to help Newcastle get promoted, and of course if Newcastle do get promoted he’ll want to get an improved wage from the £500K/year he took to sign on at Newcastle.

You can hardly live on that can you?

In fact that may be in his contract, along with the three other permanent players we signed last month.

We expect (hope) Danny will have another solid game tonight, and we missed him last Saturday night at Leicester.

I think him and Routledge can form a Bull/Jonas type partnership if they play together often enough.

Never going to be a world beater but he is definately a good solid honest hardworking player who I reckon is easily good enough to play at premiership level
