Huge Job For Hughton During Last 14 League Games

Newcastle fans got a taste of the big job Chris Hughton has this season, as we all found out the club is losing £500K a week in the Championship.

Chris Hughton – under pressure

It now seems paramount the club get out of the Championship at the first attempt this season, and if we can do that, things on Tyneside could be on the up.

It means every single one of the remaining 14 league games are crucial for the club, especially the 6 remaining home games, in which we must try hard to get all 18 points on offer.

But we also must start winning some games away from home, including
tomorrow at Watford.

And if we can get 90 points this season, surely we will be able to capture one of the two automatic promotion spots.

That means getting 24 points from the last 14 games, which is very possible.

Chris talked this morning:

“It’s very difficult for some people not to think about next season,” “It’s perhaps easier for me because I’ve got a team to work with week-in, week- out.”

“We’ve got this gap at the top but it changes on a weekly basis and with the amount of games we’ve got coming up in the last two months of the season.”

“Two defeats in a week and two wins for someone else changes things dramatically. What you can’t afford to do is look too far ahead.”

Chris is right there, and it’s still far too close for comfort.

But a win tomorrow will stand us in very good stead – now we just have to get those 3 points at Vicarage Road tomorrow afternoon.

Howay The Lads!!

Let`s hope we have enough men with nads in the team so that they don`t buckle under the pressure.
We should be Professional enough to make it over thhe winning line.
CH is doing a great job at keeping the team balanced, level headed and on their toes.
    Howay the Lads tomorrow
