Enrique Fit And Ready To Start Saturday

Jose Enrique, Peter Lovenkrands and Nicky Butt are all available for Saturday’s home game against Barnsley on Saturday.

Jose Enrique – could start on Saturday

Newcastle manager Chris Hughton was asked this morning if Jose Enrique is ready to start on Saturday:

“Yes, Jose is ready to start.”

“He’s trained for a week and a half and has had no problems.”

“Plus, having Nicky and Peter back is a massive plus for everybody here.”

We heard yesterday that Chris was thinking he may give a run-out to 19 year-old Tamas Kadar, who played for the Hungary U21 last night, when they were defeated 2-1 in Italy.

Chris seems to be keeping the cards close to his chest, but maybe both can play at left back tomorrow at some stage during the game, and then it’s just a choice as who to starts the game.

Whatever happens Enrique will make his long awaited comeback in the Newcastle side on Saturday, that seems certain.

That’s good news for Newcastle fans, since Jose’s understanding with Argentine left winger Jonas Gutierrez  has been outstanding this season, and it will be good to see Jose’s dashes down the left wing.

Let’s welcome back the bull, Hope Pete gets on the score sheet again. & Hope Butt is on the subs bench…if he has to be, The Sooner he’s off the wagebill the better…same goes for Joey Barton. Unless he’s really turned THAT corner.

Enrique back just as Van Aarnholt returns,, there are actual signs of human intelligence and foresight at the club these days. Weird!!
