Newcastle’s International Players Return Injury Free

Hughton has said today that all of his players who have been on International duty have emerged unscathed from the games.

Tamas Kadar played for Hungary U21 beaten 2-0 in Italy

Chris Hughton has today said all his players are injury free:

“All the feedback I’ve had is that they are all OK.”“Certainly, international football disrupts things for us but we have to get on with it.”

“It’s part and parcel of football and something we have to put up with.”

Newcastle didn’t have too many players playing in the Internationals, as it turns out.

Jonas Gutierrez played the whole game in Argentina’s fine 1-0 victory over Germany on Wednesday evening in Munich.

And Leon Best came on for Ireland after 78 minutes for Kevin Doyle, during Brazil’s 2-0 win on Tuesday night at the Emirates Stadium.

And both Andy Carroll and Tamas Kadar played the full games in their U21 Internationals last night.

Andy played for England in their surprise 2-1 defeat at home against Greece, and Tamas played the whole game in Italy’s 2-0 win over the Magyars in Rieti.

Tamas actually received a yellow card in his game after 36 minutes.

The fact that all four players are fit for Saturday’s home game against Barnsley is more good news for Chris to add the the fact that Lovenkrands, Butt and Enrique are all recovered from their injuries and ready to go on Saturday.

Well done those four and it’s just a shame Collo didn’t get the call against Germany. Who’s got his place in the Argentinian team?
