Kadar Plays Tomorrow – Williamson Back Soon

When Fitz Hall left the game on Saturday with a hamstring problem, Tamas Kadar came in and gave another solid display alongside Coloccini.

Tamas Kadar – will play at Doncaster

And it’s not the first time this season that Kadar has looked the part in a Newcastle shirt.

The good news is that Mike Williamson, who has a broken hand, is not too far away from returning, because he will be able to play with a cast on his injured hand in about a week or so.

This is what Chris Hughton said about the injury situation today:

“Fitz Hall will not be ready for (this) week,” “He felt his hamstring. It was a case of taking him off as a precaution, he felt it go so we had no choice.”

“Normally when you take someone off it is not a great sign. Kadar will play against Doncaster.”

“I thought he did very well when he came on. He is a young player who has gained experience and will continue to gain experience.”

Newcastle now have three injured center backs with Williamson, Fitz Hall and Steven Taylor all out injured right now.

The rules are that Football League clubs have until this Thursday to make emergency loan signings, but it’s looking like Newcastle will not move into the loan market,  with Mike Williamson much closer to returning than we thought.

Chris talked about a possible loan signing:

“It (making a loan signing) is something we’re always thinking about and toying with but at this moment I don’t see it,”

“Williamson is not far away. He has a problem with his hand.” “He will have a cast on that he will be able to play with.”

“At this moment we’re probably looking at Forest , as the game he will return for.”

Newcastle meet Nottingham Forest next Monday night, which is the next game after tomorrow night’s challenge at Doncaster.

Steven Taylor is said to be about a month away from returning, but that was also the prognosis  3 weeks ago too, so with just 6 weeks to go until the end of the season, he may not make it back at all this season.

So the good news is that Mike Williamson is almost ready to return, and as long as Coloccini or Kadar don’t get injured tomorrow night, no loan signings will be necessary.

Good opportunity for young Kadar to shine.

Let’s hope Colocini or Kadar are not injured tomorrow or can expect CH to bring in some one for a few weeks……

Will be tough against Doncaster tomorrow but we’ve got to beat them. I’m going for a 0-2 Newcastle win!

When he comes in he doesn’t really get noticed,. which is the making of a top defender. Never lets the side down.

The thing that suggests he can become a great player is that he got done once on saturday and like all good centre backs the player that did him ended up on the floor in a heap.
