Carroll Has Operation On Hand – Clash Over Woman?

It will be interesting to see if  21 year-old Newcastle striker Andy Carroll lines up for tonight’s game at Doncaster Rovers.

Steven Taylor – in Newcastle General Hospital trauma ward

But it’s probably wise that manager Chris Hughton is saying absolutely nothing, before he announces his line up at about 7:00pm local time tonight.

The respected Sky News has this afternoon added a few more presumed facts to the confrontation between the two Newcastle players, that occurred on Sunday morning at the Benton training grounds.

Sky Sports is reporting today that Andy Carroll has already had an operation on his hand, and that the confrontation was concerning one of Carroll’s former girlfriends, who was texting messages to Steven Taylor that Sunday morning.

Since the players are both young and still a bit daft, we would want to excuse them (the fools), but this is a serious situation now and Newcastle fans could be further infuriated if Andy Carroll misses the game tonight with a hand injury. But maybe he will be suspended by the club, who knows?.

And we have to think that Derek LLambias and Mike Ashley, not to mention poor Chris Hughton the manager, are just furious with these events, which are exactly what the club does not need right now.

24 year-old Steven Taylor, who was born in Greenwich but brought up in Whitley Bay by Geordie parents ever since he was a couple of weeks old, is said to be in stable condition in the orthopaedic trauma ward at the Newcastle General Hospital.

What makes this worse is that both players have been brought up in the region, with Andy born and brought up in the Gateshead area, and have therefore been Newcastle United fans all their lives, and both were even former ball boys at the club.

Newcastle United had better now win the game tonight at Doncaster Rovers, which will hardly be easy, but that will help lift the spirits of the loyal Newcastle fans, who have again been let down badly.

The best supported club in the land should be going all out to win the game at Doncaster tonight, as if their lives depended on it, after this complete nonsense.

There’s all sorts of rumours flying around at the moment. Then again, rumours will always fill a vacuum – we simply need to get this game played (hopefully winning it) then get this mess sorted out and those at fault dealt with appropriately.

Only then can we move on and try to focus on trying to get this club promoted.

If it comes down to either Taylor or Carroll has to leave the club, its a no brainer.

Tayls, whilst having a reputation for loving himself, keeps it off the pitch. He is a future toon captain and perhaps international, you just have to look at the clubs hes been linked with for that, Everton, Chelsea..etc

Who has Carroll been linked with, Bolton? He is replacable and will be lucky to get half of his goal tally next season.

One other thing, if it is true, you have to think that Carroll threw the first punch, coz if they went toe to toe I reckon Taylor would spark him nee bother!

I don’t think so, every fight Carroll has been in so far the other guy seems to come off worse.

I am sick of people like Barton and Carrol, there’s always something happening around them, we start playing well and then something of the sort happens, it’s high time the club took some measures

I’m not sure about selling Carroll, but I would definitely drop him for tonight.
This is going to sound crazy but I would play Butt tonight. I think we need a dedicated professional like him to stabilize the team. He is too old and slow but he’s got the experience and heart.
Play a 4-5-1 with Nolan behind Best or Ranger. We have already had success with this formation away from home this season – I think almost every away win bar Watford. Pretty football should be sacrificed.

Bloody ridiculous, maybe both should be fined and Carroll needs some professional help.

Maybe even if we start to freefall in the league we have enough for auto – promotion left in us….. fingers crossed.

Get this matter sorted out, it will not be tolerated by the fans of NUFC let alone the club!

Only saying what we know, an internal investigation!

No team news yet and if Carroll’s travelled with the team.

    “Irresponsible” says Bobby Moncur.

If no action is taken regarding Carrolls alleged assault on Taylor, the club is setting itself up for further high profile incidents concerning the likes of Barton and Carroll. Get rid of both no great loss. Problem is i don’t think we can give Barton away.

Unfortunately the club set a precedent in not sacking Barton. Carroll should be put with the youth squad for the remainder n sold in the summer. We have to show we have the bolx to do what is right and we are not a one man team after all.

StaffsToon Carroll should be made to pay Taylor’s wages ’till he is fit again, would teach him the value of money and bring him back down to earth.
