Tamas Kadar Replaces Bug Victim Jose Enrique In Only Change

Chris Hughton is forced to make one change from the side which beat Sheffield United 2-1 on Monday night, with bug victim Jose Enrique replaced by Hungarian Tamas Kadar.

We had hoped the Hungarian would get a start today, to prove he is the budding star we think he is, and it’s a great opportunity for Tamas. And it’s interesting to note that Hughton prefers Kadar to Ryan Taylor this afternoon at left back.

Tamas makes his 9th start and 15th appearance of the season, which is not bad for a lad who’s only just turned 20 years old,  and Tamas will this afternoon play at left-back and we look for another solid performance from the lad.

Otherwise, as expected,  the side is unchanged from that which beat the Blades 2-1 on Monday night, with Fabrice Pancrate coming onto the bench.

We look for the 27th win of the season from the Magpies this afternoon.

TEAMS:

Newcastle United: Steve Harper, Danny Simpson, Fabricio Coloccini, Mike Williamson, Tamas Kadar, Wayne Routledge, Danny Guthrie, Kevin Nolan (c), Andy Carroll, Peter Lovenkrands
Subs:
Tim Krul, Ryan Taylor, Alan Smith, Leon Best, Fabrice Pancrate, Shola Ameobi, Joey Barton

Blackpool: Matt Gilks, Stephen Crainey, Keith Southern, Ian Evatt, Ben Burgess, David Vaughan, Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Alex Baptiste, DJ Campbell, Charlie Adam (c), Seamus Coleman
Subs:
Billy Clarke, Brett Ormerod, Mark Halstead, Jason Euell, Rob Edwards, Barry Bannan, Stephen Dobbie

Referee: Mike Russell
Attendance: tbc

I think Gutierrez is missing in your line-up Ed. Or we’re confident enough to play the whole match with ten men.
