Newcastle’s Final Home Game Against Ipswich A Sell Out

It looks like Newcastle United will again smash the Coca Cola Championship attendance record, when they host Ipswich Town in their final game of the season on 24th April, a week on Saturday.

The famous Newcastle United  fans
Newcastle smashed Sunderland’s record back on December 20th against Middlesbrough, when 49,644 fans turned up for the game.

And the Newcastle overall attendance record this season is just under 43,000.

The Newcastle Club confirmed this morning that the game has fully sold out 11 days ahead of the game.

And it looks like the Newcastle fans want to party again that Saturday afternoon, and thank the players and coaches for the fantastic job they have all done for the club this season.

And Newcastle manager Chris Hughton talked today about the sell-out:

“That is fantastic.”

“Their support this season has been incredible and I’ve gone on record many times saying they are the best in the country.”

“Home or away, they have backed us until the last and the players and staff could not be more appreciative.”

“Ipswich promises to be another memorable day and to have a sell-out crowd is the perfect way to sign off from our home campaign.”

It will be a great day to celebrate promotion for all Newcastle fans, everywhere, so the lads had better put on a good show for us all. 😀

Comments welcome.

Mackems- you gotta love em. Huge chips on their shoulders about not being a real city or even having an airport. Oh thats right when you all fly off to Salou to go and drink your fizzy blue pop in sunnier climes you fly from NEWCASTLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Oh and keano still w**ks his dog !!

Gutted to be missing one, unlike AZA I’m heading back over to NI after 2 weeks off uni.

Really hope there’s an extra something about Sir Bobby for this game…Great way to say thanks for the happy memories by adding to them on a day dedicated to him:

    A win!
    A trophy!
    A laugh at Roy Keane!
