Haris Vuckic In Action For Newcastle Reserves Tonight

Newcastle United Reserves play Rotherham United tonight at Whitley Park (kick off 7pm), and include 17 year-old future star Haris Vuckic in the squad.

Haris Vuckic – rising star at Newcastle

Coach Alan Thompson will include a number of this year’s very successful Under-18s side in the squad tonight, and it seems a good game for some fans to go and check out.

After all these lads are the future of Newcastle, and we have some star youngsters at Newcastle right now.

Slovenian U-21 attacking midfielder Haris Vuckic, who scored twice during last week’s 5-1 mauling of Huddersfield Town, will again look to play, after recovering from his serious knee and ankle injuries.

Here is the the very young squad that Alan has selected for the game tonight:

Jak Alnwick, Max Johnson, Darren Lough, Matthew Grieve, Stephen Folan, James Taylor, Paul Dummett, Patrick McLaughlin, Brad Inman, Shane Ferguson, Joan Edmundsson, Wesley Ngo Baheng, Haris Vuckic, Phil Airey, Conor Newton, Sammy Ameobi, Jonny Godsmark

We’ll have a report on the game later tonight.

I want to see Haris on the pitch at QPR this weekend. We must give him a message that he will play next season in the Premiership. He wouldn’t get a game at the big clubs who appear to covet him.

I hope he gets a run out against QPR on Sunday along with Krul and Kadar.
