Avram Grant And Jamie O’Hara On Way To West Ham?

Surprising news today is that Pompey administrator Andrew Andronikou has already told at least eight players at the club they will not be wanted next season.

Jamie O’Hara –  off  to West Ham?

It’s not surprising that at least 8 players will leave, but the timing surely could have been better and come  after today FA Cup Final against Chelsea.

The news is that the 8 players who are definitely leaving are David James, Kanu, Herman Hreidarsson, Steve Finnan, Ricardo Rocha, Frederic Piquionne, Hassan Yebda and Aruna Dindane.

Portsmouth Boss Avram Grant is also expected to announce his departure,  and the reports suggest he is ready to take over as  manager at West Ham as early as this Tuesday.

Israeli Avran Grant wants to make goalkeeper David James and his team-mates Jamie O’Hara and Kevin Prince Boateng his first signings at Upton Park.

So if that is true, and that Newcastle are indeed interested in capturing Jamie O’Hara for the Tyneside club, they had better move quickly this weekend.

However, if Jamie is indeed going to cost £3M to sign from his parent club Tottenham, it could be that Newcastle cannot afford the player.

We’ll probably find out very soon which way the wind blows at Newcastle as far as midfielder O’Hara is concerned.

Hope this isn’t true, really like O’Hara but were also interested in Ledley, so either way we are going to get a young midfielder. It all really depends on whether Grant does go to West Ham or not. Seems like if Grant went to WH he would try and take most of the players that Portsmouth had.

Hughton last week said the O’Hara link was media putting 2 and 2 together because of his Spurs links and he wasnt interested.

I personally think he would be a superb signing but if Grant ends up at West Ham and wants him the lad would more than likely rather stay in London.

Dont think O’Hara be the sort of player we need need , to many midfielders already , would hamper Vukic ( he better be as good as the hype 🙂 ) and I would like us to stay clear of the wag culture

O’hara is a London lad with a proper wag girlfriend & new baby, even if we had the money (& nobody really knows) it would be a risky signing unless he is desperate to come!?

I dont see the point of mentioning OHara again and again

Hughton has dismissed the rumours already…and we cant afford him anyway

even if we can, with such a tight budget, we should spend it on a PL proven striker, Hughton said he will only sign two to three players, centre midfielder is not what we need now

O’hara can leave all he wants. Not really care about him.
