Tom Cleverley Keen On Loan Move To Newcastle

The News Of The World are reporting today that Newcastle are very close to the loan singing of 20 year-old Manchester United winger Tom Cleverley.

Tom Cleverley – Newcastle close to sealing season-long loan deal

It’s Sunday, so we should take most of the news today with a pinch of salt,  although Chris Hughton has never denied he may be after loan signings Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck of Manchester United.

The Manchester United Basingstoke-born midfielder is one of Chris Hughton’s number one loan targets, and news today that Cleverley is ready to sign a new deal at Old Trafford, but also wants Premier League experience.

Cleverley is said to be keen on a loan deal to St. James’ Park for next season

And it seems the Newcastle club have been very busy in recent weeks in putting together a loan deal for the entire season, and the Tyneside club seem confident they can seal the loan deal for Cleverley.

The England Under-21 international (6 caps) played 35 games with 11 goals for Watford last season, but suffered a serious knee ligament injury towards the end of the season.

However, Tom, who turns 21 in August, is hopeful of being fit by then, and Newcastle are hoping he will be on Tyneside to celebrate his 21st birthday.

Would be brilliant loaner and just what we need. Hope we get him along with Jack Wilshere on season long loans with views of permanent moves.

I got no idea but the link to see the jerseys. Look on top of the Newcastle jerseys, its Barca’s official ones for sure because David Villa wore them in his Barca presentation the other day. And the other jerseys surrounding them are official ones I’m 100% sure about the other ones. But, ours I think are official. The Barca jerseys are a hint that they are official.

I think he would be great to have on loan for a season and would allow us to see whether roughtledge can step up. I would put them at a similar level though this is when waynes experience should show.

he is a stupid player …i dont see him helping out our mid field …and werbeck…ya he is the most greediest player i have seen in my life…why dont nufc get players like dany gibson ..or even singe witingham from cardiff ..he scored like 19 goals and assisted like 10

if we can get Wilshere, I dont see the point of getting Cleverley

because I dont think they will loan us a player as a backup

so Wilshere is my first choice, because he is a far better player

Cleverley could do a job for us & would give us another much needed wide player. Looks a good player but not sure if he will ever get a chance at man u.

Whittingham would be awesome but i hope Cleverley and Wilshire come as we just lack that little bit of creativity.

Thank god for Blackpool i love Holloway and enjoy watching his lads but mostly im more confident about staying up next season now another cushion has been added with WBA, Wolves, Brum, Bolton, Stoke and Wigan all crap sides who i could easily see us leapfrogging

If we have a really good year we could finish above West Ham, Blackburn, Fulham and you know who.

West Ham finished 9th the year before and would have been relegated last time out but for Hull and Burnley being crap and Portsmouths money worries.

How are Brum so far ahead of us would you swap Foster for Harps, Dann for S Taylor, Ridgewell for the Bull, Bowyer for Barton, Barry Ferguson for Nolan, Larrson for Jonas, Jerome for Carroll, Garry O’Connor for Loven.

Reading finished in their first season 8th in the first prem season and were relegated the next.

Wigan finished 9th in their first season back in 05-06 and West Ham finished 10th and both survived on the last day of the next season.

Birmingham are sh*te and will struggle next time out.

The loads of money to spend is working well isnt it, An error prone 2nd rate keeper who has been capped due to being on fergies reserve list and a free transfer from NAC breda, Chris Boyd and McGeady next up theyll set the world alight wont they…
