Forster, Ranger And LuaLua Likely Out On Loan Next Season

There’s no doubt that Newcastle manager has many decisions to make this summer,  before the Premiership season starts in mid-August.

Chris Hughton – many decisions to make this summer

With so many top class youngsters at the Newcastle club these days, Chris will need to decide which ones he will send out on loan to get some first team experience.

One of out top young players, 19 year-old Nile Ranger, is almost certain to be sent out on loan, maybe even for the full season, and we would think some very good clubs would be interested in the player.

Newcastle manager Chris Hughton talked about the various decisions he will have to make this summer:

“I’m not under pressure to make any decisions now.” “This is the start of the summer period, and there’s a fair amount of time before we go into the pre-season period.”

“I have to make a lot of decisions around that time, but the most important thing is not to make those decisions too quickly.”

“I’ve got to make decisions, but every club wants to be able to be in that position.”

Hughton is also likely to loan out Ryan Donaldson, Kazenga Lualua and Fraser Forster, with Norwich seemingly very keen to seal a deal for another full season out on loan for  22 year-old 6’7″ goalkeeper Forster.

We had thought that Kazenga LuaLua may be transferred this summer, but he may be too young to sell at still only 19, and Chris may want to send him out on a full season loan to give him some first team opportunities.

Certainly Brighton, where he played 11 times earlier this year, would be very willing to take the lad again, but it may also be possible to line him up with a CC Championship club.

Doncaster Rovers were interested in taking the player last season, and with Newcastle now back in the Premiership, this remains an attractive possibility for the Nigerian-born winger.

Lualua has made it plain that he wants first-team football – and it would appear either Brighton or Doncaster Rovers, where he played 4 games in the in the 2008/2009 season, are his most likely destinations. The 19 year-old has 9 appearances for Newcastle United so far.

We will be following all of the youngsters out on loan next season,. and of course what we hope for is that the lads have great seasons out on loan, just like Fraser Forster did at Norwich City last season.

Fraser is a firm fan favorite at Carrow Road, and it seems the fans will be delighted if they can tie Fraser up for a full season loan deal.

That would seem like a win, win, win for Norwich, Newcastle and Fraser himself, who apparently was just great for the East Anglia club last season.

Comments welcome.

Thought LuaLua would have been released/sold this season, tbh.

Off topic but has anybody else noticed the “new” away kit is the Italy World Cup top with the Toon logo and the guido design removed?

Not sure if he’s out of contract, but he ‘s Congolese born, not Nigerian.

    The shirts are fakes, apparently.

i bet chris will get fired in about 3 month after the epl kicks off,….i dont why we have to bring players like jack wilshire and bench players like Donaldson who have the same pace and if given a chance the same ability….and i dont see any future for chris at this club…he brought players the are not even close to epl standard …

Yeah it does pose the question…why are we loaning out youngsters but then trying to loan them out as well. Surely any first team experience would be better going to our kids than someone else’s. I wonder if the scouts ever watch our own players play LOL
