Race Heats Up Between Bolton And Newcastle For Wilshere

Owen Coyle, the Bolton manager,  has literally begged the Arsenal club to let him have 18 year-old Jack Wilshere for another season on loan.

Jack Wilshere – a great player for England in the future?

But hey, we don’t blame Owen one little bit, as he has probably read in the press  that another club – Newcastle United – are also very interested in assisting 18 year-old Wilshere in his football development next season.

Wilshere made 14 appearances last season for Bolton, and looked better and better as the season progressed, and the star of the future certainly had a mutually beneficial loan spell at the famous Reebok club.

Bolton manager Owen Coyle has been quoted in a  number of papers as saying:

“I called Arsene Wenger to thank him for letting us have Jack last season. I think it was a fantastic experience for him and a very worthwhile one for us too.”

“I honestly think he improved as a player, so we have asked the question.” “If he feels that Jack is not quite ready for first-team football at Arsenal next season, then we would love the opportunity to bring him back.”

We have  absolutely no problem with what Owen told Arsene – as it looks like Jack could become a huge star of the future – no doubt about that – and we are huge fans of the 18  year-old.

But we also have to hope, as lifetime Newcastle fans, that a certain Chris Hughton has also had a talk with Arsene, a great manager if  ever there was one, about Newcastle United’s interest in Jack.

And we really do think Wilshere  could benefit by spending a year on Tyneside  next season.

But these loan spells may not be worked out until even early August, and it’s  far too early and even unnecessary for the Arsenal manager to make any decisions, at this stage of the summer.

But when he does, we have to hope he makes the right choice, if  the Arsenal manager indeed decides to send Jack out on loan again.

After all, Jack could get stale if he goes back to Bolton – again.

I think Bolton will get him again on a season long loan as we get Tom Cleverly on season long loan.

It might happen, don’t throw this story away already, if we don’t hurry the hell up and get Cleverly than somebody else would take him and Chris wants Wilshere as 2nd option if don’t get Cleverly.

So with all these roumors that some players signed officialy, will sign over tomorrow and over weekend, sometime later, I’m lost. Is it true that we signed the following yet:

    -David Wheater?
    -Nedium Onouha? 🙂
    -Kris Boyd? 🙂
    -Stephen Ireland on loan? 🙂

    to baro:
jaynufc89 seems to be very sure of what he is saying..and some of his targets seems realistic except for jole cole..
i dont mind seeing wheater coming in today and boyd over this weekend..
onouha may come here ..but guess it takes abit of time ..ireland possibility of coming here is lower as compared to the latter.

honestly speaking..i want alan smith to leave as he is slow and aging..plus im sure there are admirers of him..if he dont leave..there will be over competition ..if cleverly and wilshere comes here…we still have barton, danny, nolan..ryan taylor i may let him off..even if to let him go off on loan..allow some places for newcomers.

Jaynufc89_is talking rubbish thats why we pick on the guy for, he said the same stuff on another forum, but changed the details about seeing various players, and how he got the into, on this forum he said his friend from shearers bar, and on the other forum he said a grounstaff worker, he is just making it up. We dont have the money or wages available to sign players like ireland, and no way are we after wheater, he would never move to newcastle anyways, onouha might be a possible, and boyd is too similar to what we have, we need someone with pace

Can’t see wiltshire going on loan anywhere until wenger see’s what happens with fabrigas. I think I also read that cleverly is out of contract next summer, he will need to sign a new contract before he goes out on loan.
As for jays inside info, he might have seen boyd at sjp but do you really think houghton is going to tell a groundsman/barman etc etc who his transfer targets are!?

I cant see him going out on loan again either, i think we have other more important areas to get players for, Right back, striker, Centre half, and another winger, i think he is an excellent prospect but i dont know if we really need him, we have vuckic who needs games, and if i was loaning players i would be after sturridge from chelsea ahead of wiltshire, as he is exactly what we need upfront, raw pace, movement, and will score goals
