PL Fixtures Announced Thurday – Newcastle To Get Easy Start?

The English Premier League fixtures will be released on Thursday and we have to hope that Newcastle get a reasonable set of fixtures to start the season.

So there will be some real news concerning Newcastle – at least on Thursday of this week – that’s just one day before England will annihilate Algeria in their second game of the tournament.

Obviously it will be important not to get too tough a start to the season so the Newcastle players can get their confidence together – and odd as it may seem, we are even expecting Newcastle to have quite a good season back in the Premiership.

And that’s based on the new fighting spirit we now have at the club, which didn’t exist during our relegation season.

Newcastle United manager Chris Hughton said:

“Whether it’s home or away, it’s out of your hands, but I must say our fans would love to open the season with a belting home game to start things off.”

We are keeping our fingers crossed that we don’t get Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool in our first few  games.

That’s not too much to ask – is it?

There is no easy start in the Premier league Ed, and I’d expect a tough opening few games.
