Bolton Signing Alonso Will Clear Way For Magpies Sale

News today that Bolton manager Owen Coyle would like to bring in a replacement before he sanctions the sale of either JLloyd Samuel, Andy O’Brien or Danny Shittu to Newcastle.

JLloyd Samuel – on way to Newcastle?

The reports recently suggest that Newcastle have enquired about all three players and once Owen bring in a replacement he will sanction a sale which will involve only a minimal fee.

Owen Coyle is said to be closing in on a deal for highly rated 20 year-old youngster, Marcos Alonso, the Real Madrid left back, and once he gets his man we should see one of those three players join Newcastle United.

The favorite may be JLloyd Samuel but Andy O’Brien is said to be very keen to return to his former club.

Reports in Lancashire suggest that the fee involved will be minimal and said to be around £500K and manager Coyle will cut his losses as he looks to clear the way for new arrivals at Bolton.

Why the hell aren’t we in for someone like Alonso, instead of these no-mark journeymen Coyle rightly wants rid of ?

Krul, Kadar, Carroll, Ranger and Vuksic have rarely ever let us down. What about Tozer isn’t he a left back ?

Why pick up other club’s rejects and has beens when we could give youth a chance ?

Well said Rotonda Heights. One Coyle finds HIS replacements then WE can opt for HIS rejects. Do we have continually scrape around for the crumbs off the table of other clubs. This is belittling to our club and those running the place should be ashamed.

Anybody remember when villa beat us at home the game dyer and bowyer got sent off, if you were in the john hall stand the you would have seen JLloyd Samuel showing us what he thought of us behind the goal. I hope he’ll never play for us. As for the other 2 they’re just championship players

I couldnt agree with you more Rotonda,i mean just look at the World Cup with all those over 29,,,couldnt run to save their lives, and now we’re conected with players who are reaching their thirties.England vs Germany is a prime example.

There are so many excelent young players out there, why the hell we’dd want those cast-offs.

Valencia’s player Aaron Niquez could be available on a loan… Iniesta in my eyes.

Tend to agree woth Rotunda Heights here, shouldn’t we ourselves be going for the player Bolton are trying to get rather than the one they are trying to replace?

Agreed Rotunda. Does this mean that we now rank ourselves below Bolton? Having said that, part of me is glad we’re not gambling on Spanish defenders unproven in the PL. Elena Marcelino anyone?…

    MonsterMagnet – Aye, Marcelino 😀

In fairness though, any signing we are looking at for LB would be a backup anyway, so there would be plenty of time behind the scenes to see if he was a shyte player or not.

Shittu, Samuel and O brien if we sign one of them I think we make the stupid signing again. We need quality players no quantity but however I still believe in Hughton and he will do it good for us.

Stupid ass rumours. Grey shitty mediocre players. We need QUALITY. Not shitty players to take up places from the youngsters.

Bolton sign a 20 year old from Real madrid, while we sign a 30 year old from Bolton.

    That says it all, really.

    Its just life under Ashley.
