Chris Hughton Will Have Money To Spend This Summer

Some good news today from Chris Hughton in the Evening Chronicle, as it looks he will have some money to spend this summer.

Chris Hughton – some upbeat news today

Hughton says he will do everything this summer to improve the squad he already has  -and told the local Evening Chronicle today:

“We’re looking at all of the options, not just loans.”

“There will always be possibilities to add loan players and good quality loan players, but that is a bonus on top of what we’re already doing at the moment.”

“We’re exploring all avenues at the moment to make sure we’re covered in all positions.”

That’s the nearest thing yet to Chris saying he will actually buy some players this summer, and in the past week or so, there have been indications that he will have money to spend, event though it is likely to be a small amount.

But as Chris says – that’s on top of potential loan signings and free transfers,  so that has to be positive news today.

We think Chris is very good at doing good deals for Newcastle, as witnessed by some of his dealings in his first season as manager,  and we still think he could surprise us all by bringing a number of top players in the summer.

Well – at least that’s what we are hoping for. 😀

Doesnt actually say he will have money to spend Ed, the implication could mean or fee’s, or it could mean free’s?

Spot on Partizan, whatever money is available must be spent on a quality forward.

The day before the England-Germany i had a dream, that England will win 4-1 with Germans scoring the first goal.

That day i went to the bookies and bet just England to win…and i lost.

I should have just bet on the score…1 ticket 4-1 for England and 1 ticket 4-1 for Germany….the odds were 35 to 38….meaning if i had put 100 euros on just a 4-1 final score,i would have won 3500 to 3800 euros……sounds weird, but its true…..sometimes dreams tells you the truth, but other way around.

Bookies – like my dad says – drive home in a bmw whilst the likes of you and I are left with our ifs and buts.

Looking forward to watching Japan today – assuming Honda is now out of our league – I’d like us to go for their young no. 9 striker –
Okazaki who got the third against denmark and was the highest scoring international last year anywhere in the world (17).

    4 mil would do it.

I’ve been saying for weeks that CH will get a quarter of the new sponsorship money from Northern Rock & Puma to spend this season, now I’m not sure how much that is as I’ve not seen how much Puma have put in but from the reports I’ve seem, Northern Rock are paying £10m over 4 years, so that £2.5m a season plus what he gets form the Puma deal, so if it’s similar, then CH should have around £5m to spend this season unless Ashley has already allocated that to other area’s, ie wages etc….

I know it sound weird but I’m more excited about the loan signings we will make than the players we’ll buy. Those signings will be total anti-climax, “Newcastle United Sign Craig Moore; “Yeah we wanted someone with premier league experience and someone who we can be absolutely sure will not increase the quality of the squad, but we know he sucks so at least we won’t be let down eh””

Partizan we ain’t got that sort of money can’t see Fat Tw*t spending more than £500k – £1m on a player. We are now like England a second rate team buying 2nd rate players. We are even below the likes of Wolves & Wigan What a f*cking mess.
