Newcastle Looking Forward To The Premier League Challenge

Chris Hughton has come out today and said the Newcastle club is looking forward to their re-entry in the English Premier league.

Chris Hughton – looking forward to Premier League

We think one thing Newcastle fans can fully expect from the Newcastle players, is that they will show courage and fight against the top sides in the Premier League, unlike the England stars in this World Cup.

The Newcastle manager told the Evening Chronicle today:

“The Premier League is something to enjoy and we’re looking forward to the challenge.” “We went through a very tough season last time.”

“But thankfully for us there were more ups than downs.”“We’re looking forward to the stability we enjoyed last season again.” “There was a wonderful feel-good factor around the club.”

“And even more so there was a feel-good factor around the fans.” “We know it’s going to be a tough division and it will be different to last season.”

“This is where we feel the club deserves to be, and we have to enjoy being back in the Premier League.”

An exciting report today, that’s also mentioned in today’s Evening Chronicle, although they have the player’s facts wrong, is that Newcastle have had a £5M bid for 23 year-old Turkish striker Mevlut Erding turned down by French club Paris St Germain.

We have to hope this report is true, because even if it doesn’t go through, there will be other targets that Chris will no doubt go after.

A no-hoper bid for an exciting young player merely to boost ticket sales in advance of the new season getting underway?

Is it possible club owner Mike Ashley and his sidekick, ex-casino manager, Derek Llambias, could be so cynical, manipulative and dismissive of the club’s loyal supporters as to regard them merely as so many mug punters ? – surely not !!?
