Newcastle Lads Getting Fit At Carton House, Kildare

The Newcastle squad are busy getting fit out at Carton House, Kildare in Ireland and they start their days with a 6:00 am wake up call and are their bikes at 7:00 am.

Chris Hughton – three training seessions a day

And Chris is replicating what he did last year with the squad, and squeezing in as many as three training sessions each day, so the lads are all ready and fighting fit, when they have their first friendly game at Carlisle United next weekend.

Hughton today gave further insight into the training camp and said:

“We were able to have a good pre-season there last year, and we had a good start to the season.” “We know the facilities there, they’re very good, and they looked after us well.”

“We were able to do good work there, and it seemed right to go back.” “Most days we’ll have three sessions, and we’ll get out of it what we want to get out of it.”

“It’s a good environment. It might not make it any easier for the players, but we’ll get the most out of the week.” “The most important thing is we get the work done over the period.”

This is the Carton House in Kildare where the lads are staying – and it’s a 4 star hotel and looks very nice, very nice indeed.

So it’s not surprising that Chris has returned again this year, after the lads did so incredibly well last season.

He’ll  be hoping for the some success next season too, and if the lads again over-achieve,  it’s 95% certain that Chris  will be back  again  to Carton House in 12 months time.

Don’t change something that’s working.

so there you go the minimum newcatle should finish on is 43 points more than enough to stay meanin we will finish in and around 15-17 place remember these are border line negtive predictions so if was optimistic we should get and extra 7 or 8 points meaning we would finish mid table. what do u think spot on or deluded?

howay man, Maybe I’m a bit of an optimist (or just plain stupid) but I think we will get a point against Liverpool and a point against Arsenal at SJP.

Our target Yannick Djalo. Yesterday he had a nice assist in friendly. Very fast player!!! Hope we increase our bid and sign this player. Video right here of his assist yesterday.

And after scouts were watching that game Everton and Fulham joined the chase to sign Yannick Djalo. Chris Hughton really need to hurry up and sign this guy. He would either start next to Carroll or take Routledge spot.

Only if we get a speedy attacker in … than yes. All our forwards dont have that much speed besides Lovenkrands but in premier league Lovenkrands is very poor. Ameobi so slow, Best I dont even want to talk about, Carroll just heads the ball and does excellent. Ranger still young so CH wont play him I guess. We need a striker like Mevlut Erdinc and Yannick Djalo.

It seems like Haris Vuckic is everywhere and is going to get some action finally. Shane Ferguson is there too. But Haris Vuckic is a monster.

In the picture it also seems James Perch already found a new friend Steven Taylor. Who I wish will stay. And nobody likes Xisco.

Hi new to the site but here we go, would like to see Xisco get a decent chance he may have matured over the last season and something must have been seen in him to be bought for 5.7m Ashleys no fool whatever we think of him!!!! Im not worried about getting superstars in yet im sure CH knows what he is doing would like to see Vukic get a good chance and a seasoned Striker to accompany Carrol, McLovin as Ameobi , Best are not Premier League and Ranger still has a way to go and Xisco who Knows.

Change of subject. I heard that Paul Gascoigne was up at Rothbury to try to talk Moat into giving up. I found and heard this interview:

    http://www.onlybees.com/b/2010/07/gazza-on-real-radio-raoul-moat/

To be honest if I had to listen to Gazza rambling on like this I think I would turn the gun on myself. This is so sad.

    GG

It wasn’t that bad really. His voice is normally like that – maybe not as bad, but still – and he is of that intelligence whether he’s pissed or not.

He does need help though. If he could cut the majority of the crap and just have the ‘send us a cheque through the post’ parts then he could start up a new career as a coach at Newcastle etc.

Just voted on the ‘who would you like to see us get on loan’ poll. Bit harsh on Henri Lansbury. He has -81% 😆

Howay The Lads, Na M8 I reckon his brain is (as my grandmother would but it) fizzled. He had the chance to coach but he effed it up. If you ask me (and you haven’t) he’s a Geordie Best.

How can he have 81% from 4 votes? Is it meant to be 8,1%?

hayward, I’d say the Gallowgate-Stawberry Corner end. It has singing and a good view.

If you want singing – Curva Nord (Singing section) not too sure whether you could get tickets for there though

    Good view – East Stand

    Cheapness – Family Enclosure
