Pictures Of Newcastle Players Training In Ireland

Pictures of the lads training just outside of Dublin in Ireland – they are due to leave the camp tomorrow.

Peter Lovenkrands getting away from Mike Williamson

Leon Best – there goes my hamstring

Paul Barron telling players – we could get Kaka for maybe £60M – easily

Chris Hughton – I’ve got too many balls

Spot the ball!

Ryan Taylor – honing his skills – eye on the ball

Is that Ameobi challenging Mike?

Jose Enrique – whoops – missed it – have to bring him down now

Ouch – that hurt – Shola always wanted to be a ballet dancer

Physio Derek Wright screwing new foot onto leg of  one of our players
We have to hope that’s not Enrique’s left foot!

Steven Taylor – has he signed that new contract yet?

Derek Wright’s looking extremely ‘portly’ these days bless him. One of the greatest sights at St. James Park is watching Derek Wright race his opposite number and having 50,000 Geordies urging him on. I haven’t seen him win a race yet

It seems Burnley want Forster on loan. But the Sky Sports blurb gives the impression that Forster will be back up for Burnley’s keeper Jensen. Laws can go and get stuffed. At Norwich Fraser would be first choice and getting regular football. After all – if Fraser wants to be an understaudy he can do it in the Premiership for our Steve not as a second choice in the Championship! Anyway – has CH even decided yet about Krul and Forster?

Not a chance mate. Once he gets a bit momentum behind him you can kiss your backside goodbye

I don’t think CH will have made a decision about the ‘keepers yet. If one of them gets crocked between now and kick off the other goes on the bench. No point in farming players out until you know what you’ve got. It’ll probably happen late, maybe even after the season’s started.
