Newcastle Just Delighted To Sign Dan Gosling

Chris Hughton and company have completed an amazing coup by bringing Dan Gosling to Newcastle, in what looked a like a free transfer after with no money being exchanged between Newcastle and the Everton club.

Dan Gosling – great player

Hughton said:

“We’re delighted to have signed Dan. He’s the right age and the profile that he has is what makes it such an appealing capture for us.”

“He’s young but has Premier League experience and he’s someone who can continue to develop his game. We see him as a high-energy player.”

“And a player that can play from box-to-box, but he’s also a young player with experience, so he won’t be fazed by what is ahead of him.”

The Gosling drama had it’s opening episode a couple of weeks ago, when the news broke that Everton had not offered Dan a written offer of a new contract – although their Chairman had verbally offered him a new contract.

Everton are quite likely to be disgusted with events,  but you can bet that all PL clubs will now ensure they offer new contracts in writing to their players.

Gosling added:

“Chris Hughton and all of the lads have been great with me and made me feel really welcome since I arrived and, hopefully, I can repay the faith that they’ve shown in me.”

Dan made his debut for Plymouth back in 2006 when he was just 16 and he moved on to Everton in 200 and has so far made 61 first class appearances for his two clubs, with 8 goals.

Gosling could be a terrific signing for Newcastle in the years ahead, and it’s this kind of bargain that Chris Hughton will looking to add to, before this summer is out.

Two down in Gosling and Perch – and we hope at least three more to come before the end of August.

Howay The Lads!!

moved to everton in 200 lol, this player is definatly too old and we should be worried about players over 1800 as they may not be able to play the full 90 mins.
