We are hoping that Newcastle will sign two players on loan before the transfer season completes in 10 days time.
Henri Lansbury – Newcastle interest in possible loan?
Newcastle were linked earlier in the summer with Arsenal 19 year-old teenager Henri Lansbury, and sources in London today are claiming the Enfield-born star is keen on being loaned out this season.
In fact we believe Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has already said he is willing for the young central midfielder to go out on loan after deciding that 18 year-old England International Jack Wishere will stay at Arsenal this season.
Newcastle manager Chris Hughton has admitted in the past he is a big admirer of the player, and asked in the Evening Chronicle today whether he intends to bring anybody in on loan, Hughton said:
“The loan window is an option, but it is also only available to us for a short space of time.”
So not much information from Chris on that one, although we think getting this youngster, who made his Arsenal debut when only 17 years old, would be a good acquisition and add some class to the squad.
Henri joined Arsenal when he was just 8 years old, and was at Watford on loan last season and got 39 games under his belt there with 5 goals, and looked an impressive and skillful player.
