Kevin Nolan is a true captain and he has talked about the fantastic 6-0 win against Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.
Kevin Nolan – time to move on from great win
Kevin is realistic, and although he was happy at the 3 points, he rightly points out that game is now behind the lads.
Newcastle must now concentrate on getting through the Carling Cup game against Accrington Stanley tomorrow night, and picking up points at fellow relegation candidate Wolves on Saturday afternoon.
Nolan told BBC Newcastle today:
“We’ve grafted hard, the shift the lads have put in helped us win 6-0,” There’s no let-ups in this league, we’ve got to be ready for every game.””It’s a great result today but it’s over with now,”
“We’ve got three points on the board, but we’re looking forward to Wednesday now and then to Saturday against Wolves.”
“We’ve got to put this to the back of our minds like we did last weekend, take the positives out of it, look at the slip-ups, but we’re delighted.”
Nolan joined Newcastle a year last January from Bolton Wanderers for £4M and the Liverpudlian has made 61 appearances, scoring 20 goals and has been a wonderful buy for the Magpies.
And Kevin started where he left off last season, by scoring two excellent opportunist goals against Aston Villa, to add to his 18 goals of last season.

Comment #18No one REALLY knows anything more than anyone else that posts on here.
I don’t know who craigcoozy is or anyone else for that matter but I bet it’s just guess work.
I know a lad who works for a William Hills and know everything first. I wouldn’t be at all suprised if bookies also paid sports agents money to keep them ‘in the know’ so they can adjust odds.
Would agents really know average Jo that posts on forums like this?

Comment #19If it’s the same David Craig as last time he knows literally sweet f*ck all. Unlike Coozy, who is actually I think the only reliable source in the history of this blog!

Comment #20edd case – craigcoozy works in a hotel in newcastle the club use when signing players so knows about it a couple of days before when the contract and medical are being arranged, has had to many correct over the last few seasons to be guess work

Craigcoozy is alot more reliable that knowing someone who is in a bookies, they know nothing about football, its common trends now, the bookmakers follow betfair and betdaq, that how they adjust prices 95% of the time, the bookmakers get it wrong alot of the time, especially on football

Comment #22Craigcoozy is most certainly a reliable source and 1st broke the news to us about at least 4 transfers over the years before anyone else.
However D Craig is an imposter and knows absolutely nothing, nothing he says will happen unless it’s already been confirmed by the Club

Comment #24I thought it was craigcoozy’s mate who worked in the hotel? Well anyway like you both say, he seems a reliable source and has been right too many times for it to be guesswork!
