well ive just got out ot molineux and am on the bus home…………

real battle today and we were up to it…………..gave it our for 95 minutes and playd some real decent football creating some great chances

Yes, if i’m honest a part of me leaves dissapointed we couldnt take all 3 points, as we won the midfield battle, created many good chances and limited wolves immensley.

Harper……7……came off his line better to take pressure of defence and coped ok with the barakaid of corner

Perch …..7…..At times he lookd a little out of depth but he was generally in position and frustrated jarvis……….could have given away penalty and was arguably at fault for goal

Williamson ……8…….very solid game, he could have been partly to blame for wolves goal as perch seemed to mark his man where williamson should have been………..won many headers and dealt with danger well

Coloccini ……8……..mopped up very well at the back and dealt very well with the rough and long ball approach of wolves, which 2 seasons back many would have expected him not to……..won most of his aerial battles and made some impotant tackles

Enrique………..8……..typical enrique…….rarely beaten and supported gutierrez well……strong and assured defending as ever

Routledge……8.5……….worked very hard and made himself availible a lot……he put some good balls in and was effective

Smith……9………In such a physical battle he won a lot of the battles and his use of the ball was again sharp and crisp passes

Barton……….8.5……..passed the ball around the park very well and like smith got stuck in, helping is win the midfield battle…….great cross for our goal and looked a threat with another promising display

Gutierrez…….9……..ran at their defence and caused problems all game……dragged many wolves player too him which offered us more freedom on the attack………also helped to double up with enrique well

Nolan…….8.5……..llinked up with carroll well, always being ready and in postion for any nock downs……..could have scored a hat-rick and looked a real poacher today

Carroll ………9……….craddock and berra had a right job containing him aerially and he also was need and tidy on the floor………great run and header for the goal and worked hard

A real steally performance with quality in the right area’s which fills me with more hope we can stay up……………..fair play to hughton too…….he knows the tactics well and from what ive seen he’s setting us up in the best way possible to give us everychance of staying up!!!

    Well done lads!!!!!

Steady mate, you would think we won going by your ratings.

Should of gotten 3 points if we didn’t have many mistakes, and open chances. But, at least we got a point out of it. Just can’t wait for Saturaday vs Blackpool who we will hammer them!! Hatem Ben Arfa, Sol Campbell, and Cheik Tiote debut. All I want to see is Hatem Ben Arfa. 🙂

Seriously 7 match rating being the lowest? I think your rating is out of 15-20.

the performance for me warranted a 2-0 win ………..that result would have been superb and these rating would not have been questioned if that was the case ???

Well we had tons of mistakes and you know it. All I’m saying that some of those players ratings are kind of high based on their performance today.

i think capello would be better off looking at joey barton instead of askin a certain spanish geezer to play for england ben arfa campbell keane tiote ? if u ask me the reformed barton could be the best of the lot.
