LuaLua On Loan To Brighton – Forster Keeps Clean Sheet

Fraser Forster made his first team debut for Celtic early yesterday afternoon, when he kept a clean sheet in Celtic’s good 1-0 win at Motherwell, which put them top of the Scottish Premier League.

Fraser Forster – clean sheet yesterday for Celtic

As it turns out Fraser had very little to do yesterday, as Celtic were worthy winners, and the club are now top of the league on goal difference from – well who do you think – Rangers.

And news from Chris Hughton today that he will send out Kazenga LuaLau on loan to Brighton though January,  to give the 19 year-old more first team games.

The Kinshasa, DR Congo born player is the younger brother of former Newcastle striker Lomana LuaLua, and played at Brighton late last season, and was a big hit there, so it’s a good move for all three parties involved.

Lomana by the way, is now playing at Omonoia AC in the Cyprus capital city of Lefkosia – formerly Nicosia.

Chris still has to decide whether to send more of his youngsters out on loan for the coming season, with Ryan Donaldson, Nile Ranger and perhaps Xisco the most likely candidates.

As we did last season, we’ll keep reporting on how well our young guns are doing while on loan at other clubs.

Comments welcome.

Good to see he’s going to get some first team football. Not surprised Gus Poyet wanted him back – he reved about him last year.
I am a bit surprised he didn’t chose a Champiosnhip club though , given both Reading & Doncaster were also interested.
The next couple of years will be critical if he’s going to make the leap to the premiership – I hope he makes it.

Was great in that game at Accrington, shame Ryan Donaldson was terrible though, i thought he would be one of the younger players knocking at the door, but he was dreadful and lost my faith in him. hopefully we can loan out Ryan before the window shuts to get him 1st team matches.
