Ben Arfa should be making his Newcastle United debut, at some point in the game tomorrow against Blackpool at St. James’ Park.
Ben Arfa – a message for the fans – I want to play for them
And Ben Arfa has let everybody know over the last two weeks, since he’s been in training with the Newcastle squad, that he cannot wait to make his debut in front of 50,000 fans at the famous St. James’ Park.
The on-loan Marseilles winger has been training well at Newcastle, according to manager Chris Hughton, who seems to be a fan of the lad’s significant skills.
Once he starts playing for Newcastle, we have to hope he will show good form, and he will no doubt be watched by the French Football Federation, as he looks to start what we hope will be a great career for the Newcastle United club.
Ben Arfa was not selected in the French squad in their recent European 2012 qualifying games against Bosnia and Belarus, but the lad is still keen to play for his country in the future.
Ben Arfa told the Evening Chronicle today:
“Obviously I am hopeful of playing for France again in the future, but making my Newcastle debut is what I am focused on at the moment.”
“Now I am here I want to show everybody what I can do. I’m fully fit and ready to go.” “To be given the chance to play here is the most important thing for me.”
Ben Arfa is still considered to be a bad boy in France, and it looks like there will be a few French football correspondents at Newcastle to report on the game tomorrow, and we assume Ben Arfa will make his debut in the game.
The former Lyon player also had a message for Newcastle fans, specifically about why he left Marseilles this summer:
“I wanted to leave Marseilles because the coach wasn’t being particularly fair with me.” “I wanted to come to Newcastle and it is important that the fans understand that.”
“I want them to be clear about the fact I wish to be here to play for them, and that all of the stories that people hear about me are not always the truth.”
We cannot wait for this lad to play for Newcastle, and we just hope he can bring his fine form to Newcastle quickly, as he’s certainly a player who has been blessed with tremendous and sublime skills.
Comments welcome.

Comment #5hes on the bench unless we get 2 or 3 goals up????? thats a pretty ridiculous thing to say. you think if it is 0-0 or we are behind then hughton wont look to bring on our most talented, creative, attacking player??

Comment #6Alright, lads…first post on here. Must admit I followed the HBA transfer saga from the first whisper until he eventually signed…which got pretty frustrating at times ! Haven’t been this excited about a player since problies Ginola…
Just hope he can gel in the dressing room…no room for flying ego’s these days. More important than any individual is this new found steel, determination and team spirit we ‘ve earned grafting our way back up last season.
Personally, as long as everyone’s fit, I’d stick with the same first IX for the kick-off.

Comment #7I don’t think it’s ridiculous at all Nick, I just think we will break him in gently, rather than waste his tallent up against oposition that if the score is still 0-0 they will undoubtably try to kill the game off and stop any free flowing football.

Comment #9i am just buzzing that we are talking about this lad
playing tommorow and not whether craigcoozy has any
inside info on wether he checked into a newcastle hotel..
lol, i was so tired of mackems coming on here acting like
insider spreading shite, and checking twitter to see
what that isaac bloke was putting out. my nerves were
shot, the toon army wanted this lad so bad and now we
got him. and if we want to keep him the toon army needs
to back this lad through good and bad times. he needs
to feel that special feeling of being backed by the toon
army so we can keep this lad for several years and not
lose him to real madrid, barca. man ure, etc…lets
get behind him lads…

Comment #10HBA will make his debut tomorrow. That’s a no brainer. Blackpool is the best opp to bed him in & give the lad a taste of that ferocious SJP roar. CH is no fool. (Next home game is Stoke in 16 days)
Its gonna be D-Y-N-O-F-*-C-K-I-M-I-T-E. Damn, wish I there instead of watching it on my laptop. Sigh

Comment #11Everybody is talking this player up. Lets hope he can play as well as he is praised. I’ll take any comparison with Ginola rather than Robert. What happened to the topless one after he left NUFC?

Comment #13Prefer it if he had stats like Robert myself, Ginola was much more graceful and looked a better player. However Ginolas end result – goals and assists were vastly inferior to Robert.

Comment #14I love Ben Arfa. He will provide Carroll with lots of great assists. That is what Ben Arfa is known for, using his pace and bag of skills to terrorize the defenders and than provide Carroll for the goal. Carroll aiming for 25+ goals this season. 🙂
