Kazenga LuaLua made a great return to Brighton today as the home side beat MK Dons 2-0, and the Newcastle winger scored his first senior goal ever.
LuaLau scores and does what brother Loamana used to do – a somersault
Maybe Chris Hughton shouldn’t have let Kazenga go out on loan as Newcastle lost their first game at St. James’ Park this afternoon, 2-0, against a good looking Blackpool side.
LuLua is of course on loan to Brighton until early January, and he scored today with a stunning free-kick from outside the penalty box, on 49 minutes, for his first senior goal ever. And he then mimicked his older brother Lomana with a somersault – and he didn’t injure himself either.
LuaLua has scored some stunning goals in his career, but only in Reserve team and Youth team football – until today.
The 19 year-old had an excellent game with some great wing play all afternoon, and then he delivered a perfect cross to the far-post for Glenn Murray to head home Brighton’s second goal to give the Seagulls an excellent home win. LuaLua scored one and made one – not too bad at all.
This was Brighton’s third win of the season, and keeps them in a challenging position in the league.
It also seems that Kazenga is following Newcastle manager Chris Hughton’s advice to the youngster before he left Newcastle last week – to go out and enjoy himself – and score more goals.
Fraser Forster, the Newcastle goalkeeper on loan to Celtic, had his second clean sheet in a row as Celtic easily beat Heart of Midlothian 3-0 today at Celtic Park.
